Couple questions
…dunno should I be worried?

Q #1: whats going on with these leaves? Is this Nitrogen defiency?

Q #2: is this just about genetics or whats going on under these leaves? Purple/dark color just under one plant leaves…

the leaves canoing up a bit. Can heat stress cause this kind of symptoms?

Hey Verbalist, I don't think you have a N issue. Maybe a splash stain or burn? Keep your eye on it though.

The purpling leaves can be temperature related or a purple plant coming. It may change. If there's a 10 degree difference or more during the course of the day they tend to color up.

the leaves actually got a bit worse.. Didn’t give them a sun light today. And tried to lift up the lamp inside the closet.
now the CFL and led bulb having around 20cm distance to the plants. Also setup a fan so temps inside the closet are around 25C

Leaves tends to reach towards the light.
Although my veg lighting kinda sucks should I stick to 20/4 Lights or change it to 18/6? (Was thinking to switch 18/6 on 3rd week & on 4th or 5th week I’ll flip them to flower)

Is it the same leaves, or are other ones getting involved?

I generally use 18/6 myself, unless it's an auto, others use 20/4. It's a personal thing.

the same leaves. Only on one plant.. two of them looks fine.
Here latest pic of those leaves, they keep getting worse.

Do they look like that they having some nute overdose?

Or a defiency? Can’t tell.. never had this kind of problem with seedling/young plants

E: I gave them 2 days ago water (0.2l) to which had been added 0.85ml/1l Bio - Grow and Organic 5-0-0 Nitrogen nutrient. (Following BioBizz chart, but used only 0.85ml insted of 1-2ml/l)

- Soil is BioBizz Light mix which should not contain that much nutes in it.

Since the issue is staying with the original leaves and the new growth is looking normal, I'd say nothing is wrong or needed to change. Those damaged leaves will likely get worse and the new growth should stay healthy. Something went awry but seems to have repaired itself.

Day #13
- re-potted one of them so all of them now in 5 & 6l air pots
- bought 250w HPS because the veg lighting was shitty.
- gave them first time a bit more nutes (1.25ml/l Bio - Grow & 0.5ml/l Organic Nitrogen) and gave around 0.5l water to each plant till a bit run off from the bottom

Today was actually Day #13 (lol typo above)
…And end of the week two

- 9.7.2021 Today started LST:ing. Pheno 3 seems the slowest one growing so we gotta deal couple more days untill it can be tied down better.

They like the new light already!

Yeah bro, I was thinking same. They seems loving it!

Its always the same when switching from low lm lamps to nicely scaled red Spectrum HPS with 10x lm’s

although not having the tent yet I was a bit worried about the temps in 40x60x150 closet, where they at right now… But the fan keeps nicely blowing the hot air upwards so the temps at the tipof the plants are between 26-28C.

humidity is a small problem atm.. tried to set up couple DIY humidifers. We’ll see if they work out.

if everything works out how I’ve planned then Im getting a tent & scrog in 7 days days -> scrog training them for a week and then flip into flowering between in 3-4 veg week.
Goal schedule is to harvest after 7 weeks, but gotta listen to the ladies opinions anyway

Day #14 - Start of the 3rd week:

- Mixed 1.5ml/l Bio Grow, 0.5ml/l Bio Bloom & 0.5ml/l Organic5-0-0 Nitrogen
- Soaked the whole surface wet for 4-5 times so it should be covering the whole pot (gave around 0.7l per plant)
- Did a bit more LST:ing
- Pheno #3 seems liked the re-potting
- Today gonna switch from 20/4 lights to 18/6

Pheno #1

You know somethings right when leaves look like that! Bravo!

yup they look very healthy right now no doubt. Althought my last grow I had even more ”hulk biggie-greenish” leaves, and that was because NL really likes Nitrogen at the veg stage.

Think gotta be careful this time to not feed them too much N since last time too much N caused/started a pretty bad chain of a nute burn on leaves

Day #15

Super kewl how the Pheno #1 already pushing a new tip at the same heigh as the top cola.
Just by LST:ing! :—)
