You can add some epsom salts to water and water it in to give them a shot of mag if they need it Tim. I've gone with a tbsp/ gallon in a ten gal pot. It really wakes them up if they want it!I need to remember for the next grow, and not forget like I did this time, to add some dolomite lime to my soil be it the light, or something else, I seem to get some calcium or magnesium deficiency every grow, regardless of nutes.
I'll give that a whirl, thanksYou can add some epsom salts to water and water it in to give them a shot of mag if they need it Tim. I've gone with a tbsp/ gallon in a ten gal pot. It really wakes them up if they want it!
I'll put that on the to do list for tomorrow, stone mentioned it too. Thanks!I know from reading the GF Bloom label that the Ca/Mg ratio is completely off (Ca 5% /Mg 0.75%) so I would think that a bit of epsom salt would be a better addition if the leaves start with yellowing between the veins and then getting the brown spots.
Yes, lowest it gets is 71 at lights off and highest it gets is 80....but usually 79Is it always above 64F in there Tim?
Ok that's good! < 64f can give them mag uptake issues.Yes, lowest it gets is 71 at lights off and highest it gets is 80....but usually 79
Awesome, thanks for the tip and help. They are moving along nicely and starting to swell.Ok that's good! < 64f can give them mag uptake issues.
I think once at this time for epsom Tim. If it was earlier I'd dose them and watch new growth. New growth immediately comes in good and lasts for weeks or longer. It can be different for you so just keep your eyes open. I'm pretty sure you'll be harvested before they need another dose.
Very true!!!If the breeder is showing yellow leaves you know you have an uphill battle!
