This one plant just isn't doing much more and not looking healthy. I don't believe it's over watering as I went days without water and no change ...she still looks sad with droopy leaves. Perhaps root rot or other root issues??

I'm thinking of either trimming her, she's an auto, to see if that helps or just taking her out of the tent to make more from for the other girls. Thoughts?

Looking good. It looks like some of the tricomes are starting to cloud but I have a ways to go and still too many white pistils

Gave the girls a bath today, lots of salt buildup so a good flushing. Hope that clears up my issues as I head into the home stretch ;)

The yellowing is getting a bit better since the flush, not much but a bit. The buds have really progressed though. I'm still seeing some white pistils and only found one cloudy tricome so I have a bit to go still.

Yellowing seems to be spreading a bit but the buds look good I believe?

Starting to see some cloudy tricomes too but just on one branch on one plant.

Day 44 in flower, Day 88 since sprout....long time for these autos. Perhaps I froze them in time with the cold temps in April ;)

About 60-70 percent cloudy tricomes on Big Bertha and 70% plus amber pitils, been that way for maybe 4-5 days. She has four really nice/big buds. That main cola is about 10".

How much longer before the tricomes start to turn amber?

Still waiting to see amber tricomes. It seems I had mostly cloudy but now it seems new clear ones are showing up. Pistils have mostly turned amber on Big Bertha and Lil Bitch. How long does it take, once cloudy, for tricomes to amber?

I'm at 14 weeks since sprout and about 8 weeks since the first flower.....and they are autos

Got the digital microscope out yesterday and I see amber!!!!

Tomorrow night I'll do my 36 hours of darkness and then two of my girls will get the chop ;).

Plan is to hang the whole plant for 3 days or so, then trim and out the buds in a paper bag to finish drying. Then into jars to cure.

Any tips are welcomed.

The girls spend the last 40 hours in total darkness. After months of caring for them, watching them grow, and nurturing them, I almost felt bad chopping them down......almost. they smell amazing and tricomes really pop and glitter after the darkness.

How's my pre-hang trim? Too little, too much, or about right?

Checked in on hanging girls.....wow! The tricomes really seem to have taken over, even showing up on leaves that didn't have them when I chopped her.

Sorry I missed that last question man, think I got you on the faq page tho! Looking great.

You’ve done an amazing job. It’s rewarding to finally put your own bud in the jar. You’ve got the skills and the community to back you up.

I’m only got a few buds left from harvest of 8 zips of Paki Valley 1st run, I’ve got 2 gallons of the PV clone stuff curing but it’s looser buds not quite as sticky. I’ve squirrel away several zips of cobs for long term storage and made couple ounces of green dragon. Anyway, last year we hit a real bad dry spell here, totally dankrupt. No weed to be found. So yes sir it’s nice to stack up a few jars & cobs etc.

Here is how Big Bertha looks after 4 days of hanging with 57rh and 66-68 temps. I spread out some branches to improve airflow and make sure the buds aren't touching. Looking good?

Also some tricomes pics from The Ex. Guessing a few more days until I select harvest, wash, and hang. May try low & slow in the fridge is I can get a small fridge this week.

Yes THG absolutely, it’s looking great, I bet your place reeks with the funk!

Excellent shot on the trichs.

Thanks! I used a $30 digital microscope that connects to the phone. Works pretty will but needed to tape it to a tent pole and make a base for it. It has to be perfectly still.

And I'm getting my wash buckets today for the Ex

Ah cool, I want a digital one too, that’s nice connects to phone. Sure beAts the older ones that had to be hooked to laptop. Yes I heard about the perfectly still part, I can’t see thru loupe for same reason. I’m shaky as it is with a camera but trying to develop better skills.

I let mine soak for a minute or so in each bucket and think it helps both with taste & curing more evenly. It’s fun to experiment with curing but remember to label your batches so you can track your variables.

Like I mentioned that first run of PV was dried low & slow seemed twice as frosty as the air dried part from exact same plant.

Ok, girls have been hanging for 5 days and the buds have shrunk....expected.

What has me a bit concerned is how airy and spaced out individual buds are, I thought they would shrink and compact and become dense. Will that not happen?

I had issues worth this grow so the buds weren't optimal and looked airy/loose while growing and it seems to be getting worse.

Thoughts? These are the tops of colas which seem better density than the mid or lower buds.

Well, today I decided to take part of Lil Bitch and trim and paper bag her. Buds are crazy sticky, smelling great, and I think I got high trimming her haha. Buds are airy and light, won't weigh much but I wanted to experiment with this drying method too.

You know all this... but it’s a combination of genetics, lighting, enviro, timing, nutes & grower skill that determine final outcome. Some have small airy buds while others have massive rock solid colas. We are all pheno hunting - even if we don’t actively pheno hunt.

You’ve got an excellent harvest, with more on the way in a few days if I recall correctly, plus you have the skill to crank up your game, I’d say that’s a big success!

I’m only a little bit ahead of you, I think this is my 8th, 9th & 10th runs going on now. I’m still not dialed in environment wise, but you keep after it. You add skills, read more, buy equipment, get more strains.
