While we are here let's what has changed in my system. This is the old Gro and Flow (Ebb and Flow) that I tried running this past year with little success, I have removed the grow pots from the setup and placing the two gallon Smart Pots on 6 inch wire risers.

Note: At this point, when the Smart Pots are set on the wire rack the coco/perlite in the Smart Pot is at the same level as the top of the drain bucket.
Running drain to waste the pots will water with Rainbird stream rotors and drain into the drain bucket, that drain water will move to control bucket and be pumped into a waste water drum.

The clones have begun rooting and hope to move them into their two gallon pots next week.

The plan is to veg these plants for 4 to 5 weeks before flipping. Will grow these out and take clones along the way for next springs grow

Eight weeks since the mother plant was started.

And today

Three weeks since clones were taken.

And today.

The 6 chosen for this grow, going into the Smart pots this week.

A couple of the ones selected are a bit weak but they have good roots so they will pick back up.

Ok, so we transplanted yesterday. Removed the plants from the Solo's and put them in 2 gallon 66% Coco/33% Perlite filled Smart pots. Ended up with one extra as a backup to the other 6.
The 6 I chose to transplant and put the Smart pots in the drain pots. These are the stands that was put in the drain pots to keep the plants out of the drain water and get them to the proper elevation with the top of the drain pots.

Plants transplanted and ready for the next 8 to 11 weeks. Good clean setup. The plant in the blue bucket is a backup if needed.

The red hoses in the back is it irrigation lines, will; be hooking it up today but am still a few weeks until it will be needed. Hand watering for root establishment.

Clean setup but different drain/waste. The Smart Pots are sitting in the drainage pot and as they water the waste drains into the control pot that is then pumped to a waste container.
Control pot.

Got the tent all cleaned up and ready to rock this grow.

Plan on going 12/12 within the next two weeks.

We installed the screen on 9/26 and began pulling the branches through the screen on 9/29.

And here they are today, switched to 12/12 flower mode yesterday 10/13. Did this with the completion of the last rez and prior to refilling I did 3 - 3 minute times to flush the root zone, there was about 4 gallon in the flush, then change the rez with a fresh 30 gallons of nutrient solution. That rez lasted 10 days so I should either make a new rez prior to my trip or just add fresh solution to the rez when it is about 1/2 empty to carry me through my trip.
Three days since last pic and one day into 12/12.
Today 10/14

See y'all soon!

So this morning I was going to trim/lollipop the ladies. Was sore from yesterday's work I did on the first half of the plants so I was not able to get low enough to see what I was doing, so it was like cutting by feel.
The first cut I took outside branch, tried looking then cutting but cut a major branch and tried one more time and cut a second major branch.
You can see this on the left side of this picture.

Another pic of my fu-kup. Left hand side.

Think I can move some branches to fill the hole.

13 days since start of flower! Very much a Sativa.

Low fertilizer rates are showing promise. Currently at less than half rate. Great color, no burnt tips, no massive flush growth and transitioned into flower very well.

looks great. shows a lot of promise.

the ability to feed multiple times per day lets you really roll back on the nute levels for a happier grow.

Just a few pics from the past few days, starting to puff up.

Here we are at day 32, and I thought things were going ok until I went to my buddy's day before yesterday. I started the mother plant that we both took some clones from, started flower at the same time. Was at his place a couple of days ago and his plants look much further along than mine look. We are using the same company's LED only he got the one that was one under mine. 600 W compared to my 650 W lamp. I told him i was seeing a brightening followed by a dimming that would periodically go from dim to bright and back to dim.
When I got home I sent an email to the company and sent a video of the lamp.
It was no time that I got a call from the company and she said she could not see anything in the video so I explained what was happening. She ask me to disconnect the dimmer, saying they had seen some issues with the dimmers on that unit. She guided me through the process and as soon as I disconnected the dimmer the lamp got very bright,
She said she was sending me another dimmer at no cost, expected it tomorrow.
In the mean time I am using the lamp without any dimmer as I am about 5 weeks into flower and needing the full intensity of the lamp.
Here are a few pics of the plants taken a day after I removed the dimmer from the mix.

The plants are very sticky and have some wonderful fragrance.
20231111_080315.jpg

Thinking I should be harvesting in 30 to 40 days, all dependent on the trichs and their readiness.
Peace out!!!!!

Day 35 of 12/12.
These plants are sticky, smelly and loaded with trichs.'
20231117_210451.jpg

Things have been steady, no issues and getting ready to harvest, I think sometime next week. Checking Trichomes this afternoon, they were beginning to turn earlier this week.
These ladies were very branchy with spacing between the nodes. Branches were thin so they fell over, I have two layers of screen in the tent but they grew so Sativa like that they finely laid over.

All of the ladies.

Day 62

20231214_210756.jpg

Day 63
This bud it a down stem bud, the 4th bud below the top cola, Like the size of these lower buds.
As usually happens that when I start the last reservoir prior to flush I get a burst of growth. The pistols are flourishing and that accentuates the trichomes. Just a hint of purple color. Will be lowering the temps in the tent today and will be going to a pH'ed water flush beginning tomorrow.
20231215_084102.jpg

.

Started harvest yesterday evening. Everything that past through the top ney has been harvested. About 2/3rds completed.
Make shift drying rack. To try and balance the screen i started hanging bud on bith ends of the rack
20231223_170559.jpg
20231223_170441.jpg

The screen is about 65% full.
Oh and a few buds turned purple on me.

Dos Si Dos Harvest 2023
Started harvest on the 12/22 and finished on 12/23, Dried hanging from screen for days then one day closed up in a plastic bag, then laid on screen for another day.
Screen is 4.5 X 8 feet.
20231224_171824.jpg
20231224_171853.jpg

Trimmed and removed the individual buds from the stems.
20231229_140321-1.jpg

Then put them into jars for final cure.
1140 grams, 40.7 zips, 36 quart jars, 34 have 30 grams/jar with 2 jars at 42 and 44 grams.
20231230_114611-1.jpg

A little less weight than I expected, but I attribute that to the plants laying over in the tent and covering bud sites causing smaller buds on the bottom of the grow. This next grow is clones from this grow so I will be using the double net to keep the branches upright and super crop as needed.
20231227_153356.jpg

I am not disappointed with the haul, did a taste yesterday and although still a bit green tasting got a very good buzz off of it.
