So you know how I was thinking the PH was what was making my plants sad? Well it was that and probably the fact that I had the control bucket hooked up to a timer. God I fealt so stupid once I realized what I did. Somehow I got the xtension chords all screwed up and only had the control bucket turned on for 12 hours out of the day! uuuggghhhh! I think Ive just had waaayyy too many things on my mind these days and thats why Im making all these reeally really stupid mistakes. In any case I fixed the control bucket thing so now its on all the time and just in the last 3 days the plants have more than doubled in size. Im sure it was because they all had a rather extensive root network and once they were getting water and nutes they just exploded with new growth. So Ill have some new pics up for you guys soon!

Ill post a before and after so you can see the difference in the last few days.

3 DAYS AFTER FIXING THE BUCKET,( after I supercropped. thats why the top branches are bent and laying over)

WOW! The difference is just incredible. The growth after everything was running smoothly is just incredible! Look at all that growth just from 3 days!! The 5 gallon buckets are ROCKIN now!!

I am new here. I stumbled across "Greenislands 5 Gallon Upgrade Ebb & Gro TEK" and read it all in one sitting! I wish I would've run across this a month ago, damnit! A month ago I purchased the standard Ebb n' Grow system and I'm getting ready to place it into commission this weekend when my starts get here. I can't take the system back to the store because I've already set it up and thrown away the boxes that it came in. (What can I say? I'm a clean freak. LOL!) I will definitely put this excellent 5-gallon recipe on my Xmas list! I've been a good girl this year, Santa!
I really enjoyed reading through this extremely informative journal all at once and in order from page to page. It was nice that it was presented this way (I'm a bit of a nerd and I have to write technical jargon as part of my profession). Good job, GreenIsland!

looking good. been thinking about trying a similar set up but smaller pots due to lack of space. i have an aero set very similar to 420fields on go at mo which is looking sweet i must say. but different environments require diff grow techniques and think i'll copy this but scale it down. great work.

WOW, amazing growth there for three days - looks like they've barely lost anytime now. We all make mistakes... I can't count the number of times I've left the pump timer on continuous...

Wow , Emeraldgrl Ithats a comment that I will treasure for some time, lol. Seriouslt though its great to know that I could help someone like that. And thank you everyone else who has posted. Ive been real busy lately with my other garden being done and all. And that journal will be coming to an end soon. I just love having new 420 members stop by and say high! Its so inspiring! Im so happy to think that this journal could help someone. It turned into a much larger and more expensive venture than when it was first conceived but it was well worth it. Especially having everyone here backing me. I hope to have new pics up soon!

Ok so heres some pics for all you nerdy cannabis junkies out there! lol. ENJOY! And they are still just exploding with new growth.

You can still see some damage from when I had the timer thing all screwed up but all the new growth looks good and they are growing inches everyday and Im supercropping the hell out of them trying to slow them down. Since there gaining size so fast I started 12/12 today. Cant wait till I have nug pics to show all of you! Oh and heres some pics of the other room also just put into flowering. Im trying to keep the plants much smaller and more manageable this time. I will have a slightly decreases yeild but with both room up and running I should be able to keep me and the girl in meds for a little while, atleast I hope so.

So I finally got some time to update. these pics were taken 4 days ago, and they show the difference that the airstone makes in the new 100 gallon rez. Ill put a before and after so you can easily see the difference. Obviously they were going to get bigger regardeless but the growth and the quality of the new growth has increased substantially just from aerating the solution. I have a huge airstone in there pumping a LOT of bubbles too, so its constantly turning the solution in the rez over and over and over.

The time elapsed between the two pics was 3 and a half days! Just astounding. I was very surprised to walk in and see the tallest plant rubbing on the ductwork, just crazy growth! Anyways heres some other pics from 4 days ago.

That last pic gives you a good idea of how the garden has changed in the 3 days between photos. I bet today they are huge! Its just bedtime and I dont want to disturb them. Hopefully I get off work early enough for a pic update tommarrow! Hope you all liked the budporn! Oh and well since I havent started my other thread yet I will just post the pics from the adjacent room here for ya all to see. Notice the 4 soil plants...Im going out of my comfort zone of hydro with these four, lol. Well see how I fare..or I guess how they fare.

I found these white plastic things and put them to use in my garden, see them on top of the pots?

Nope there just some smaller less mature plants back in the original CAP ebb and flow set. Should be tasty though!

wow thats quite the compliment Clark. It is the reason for posting this journal however, so Im stoked to hear that someone else wants to build this system. Hope you stay to see how the rest of the journal turns out. I just finished my last journal today, so this is my only current grow journal.
Oh, and also Munki the last pic shows mothers that just got put in the room, thats why they look so thin and lime green, because they were under floros until about 10 days ago from now, and 4-5 days before the pic was taken. Im kinda hoping they flower ok but if they dont no biggy. Im sure whatever they produce will be fine. I just wanted to get some WW in there and apparently i forgot to take clones from it so there wasnt any until I put that mother White Widow in there. The other one is Super Lemon Haze. Both sound good to me, and I had the extra room so I figured why not?
