Just so you know, they sell a R/O filter system that connects to your hose outside. It makes R/O water very quickly. I fill up my 60 gallon res over night with it.

For example with this one, you an request a garden hose adapter.

I am going to get a filter , I was not home the last 2 days so I couldn t change de res , just got home 5 min before lights close time tonight and saw they are bushy AF , no nute burns , no defficency yet so I hope all will be good . The Photoperiods have not shown their sex yet , still waiting .
Hemysinc -for the 9 autopots I used a whole bag of coco and a whole bag of clay pebles plus another quarter bag of coco I had around the house . I think they were 50L bags , I can check in the morning as I still have the bag but like I said it s lights out at the moment .
No photos yet , I wanted to wait untill I have something to show you
A few of the autos are getting a lot of white hairs all over the place .
I am asking again , should I continue to tie them down so light gets all over the place ? or should I just let grow up in the direction of the lights ?

Oh, also, please check out the new instructions for how to get plants close to the PS 1000 for large yields, oh wait, you don't use a mover, but when you do just check out the "best height" tab on my site.

What about without a mover ? Any tips ? Also no AC but temps constant , max 27 celsius with CO2 bag .

and if I go lower it kind of kills the surface it covers , should get a light mover for those outer pots at least , at the moment I switch the light somehow in diagonal if you understand what im saying , one day in one direction the other in the other direction to better cover the edges Like I said , trial and error and the learning process is amazing

As close as I was able to get my buds to the stationary PS 1000 in the center of the light was 2.5 or 2 feet away. Buds way from the center can get closer, though.

For stationary, I think the best training would be U shaped training.

A little update
i didn t change the res with the explode, its almost half gone now almost one week later and the girls are doing awesome , i swear they look like they would thrive in dirt They are loving the new light schedulle and the lights . I started repositioning the light so that it hits corners better and I change it every day or so . you will see from the pics
The photoperiod NL x5 HAZE haven t shown sex yet despite finding some white hairs on one of them a week or two ago
It is safe to say that the stretch has begun

The autos are showing preflowers , all NL Automatic . The Amnezia Automatic not yet but she was planted almost a week later so we ll see

And I repositioned the filter ( for which I have yet to purchase a jacket ) and extractor fan so I can lower and raise the lights better .
I switched the lights from the main beam that goes through the middle of the tent to 2 poles on the outer walls .

In this one you can see the light is not straight . tomorrow it will be in the other direction

you would have to ask Neil about that , but it s not at all lightweight , I am sure that these heavy duty hanging stuff I bought would hold me without snapping dunno bout the tent tho . are you worried about the tent poles not being able to hold the light ?

BTW : the air stone in the reservoir makes all the difference as it keeps the nutes mixed and the PH has not dropped a single digit in almost a week . That s awesome .

My led panels weigh 20kg and i have 2 hanging in a 3x3 tent. wanted to put 4 in but i think it would bring the tent down.

My new tent is 100cm x 100cm just over 3ft by 3ft.the goliath weighs 58 pound about 4 stone.so was worried the top poles of the tent cannot handle that weight.so i made a wooden frame to sit ontop of the tent and gna screw the hooks through the tent roof on the inside and out the top then screw them into the frame above.the frame is 100cm by 100cm same size of my tent.the 4 corners will sit flush with the edges of the tent giving equal suppprt and weight.here it is

defo strong enough.tent arrives tmz then can put it all together.and light up goliath happy growing

i think it s a little overkill if you ask me the perfectsun 1000 is almost as heavy as yours and my tent looks like it would hold a couple of those maybe more . I am sure your tent would have held up just fine but hey, looks cool

Hey man. Plants are looking great. like your set up. Is that one small clip on fan enough air movement in your tent? I only ask because I have a huge wall mounted one and half my tent isn't getting good circulation. I just ordered 4 fans a little bigger then what you have but will probably return some of them if your one 6" is enough for you.

hey . tks a lot . I also have another 6 inch fan hidden in the pic , placed near the reservoir that blows from the other side , the girls seem to love it . Will see when they get even bushier , maybe I will bring the one that is further away closer and higher and I think it will be enough , you don t need a storm in there , just to gently keep changing the air around the plants and maybe make them stronger because of the constant moving of the branches . Can t wait to show you guys some pictures from what s down below , it s BRANCH PORN down there . They look VERY strong , like they hit the gym or something ) .

Did you really feed them 1300ppm?
Maybe your meter is not working properly or it is displaying at 700 scale.

Looks like your doing a great job. I'm very interested to see how you go on. You have been very unlucky with seeds however. 80% germination after 5 years is fairly normal (if well kept). 2 years is nothing for a well kept seeds. Your buying good trusted seeds and your grow room looks well set up. Have you tried different methods of germination?

yea , I tried placing them in PH balanced rockwool cubes , in papertowels in a plastic box and just in plain water . all work fine , it s just a matter of what you like best .
I recently saw a method of germinating older seeds that I had not seen at the time . you take some sandpaper and make a tube with the sandpaper on the inside and slide the seeds in there and shake it up a little . this should make the water penetrate the seed a lot better and i ve seen people have a huge success rate with this method . Will try it next time I have old seeds .

Yes , I really fed them that concentration . The meter should work ok , I just calibrated it and the scale I don t think is off . you gave me something to think about , should I get another meter just to be sure ? but the plants are doing so well I don t know what to say

1st see ur point mate wouldnt say overkill .the frame is light.and the tent is gna be up longterm.so needs to be safe and i dont want goliath crashing to the ground
