Low Budget Using My Aquarium Fertilizers, July 2019

Sept 26th is 70 days from seed.Some stress issues seems to coming around?Try to get pictures up on Saturday

Indoor in closet 29 inch by 36 inch.Lined with camping blanket,Mylar.
Indica 2 Blueberry autos and 2 Northern Light photo
3 gallon cloth pots.
2 are 2 weeks in flower and 2 are 4 weeks in flower.I don`t know which is which.(as of Sept 26th).
plants are 14-17 inches tall.
regular soil,
one 600 watt Meizhi light ,older version.16-17 inches above plants.Plants stop growing for the most part.
Small 6 inch fan in grow space,also blow a 12 inch fan through opening 2-4 hours every now and then.

On stumbling across people growing pot on the internet I became intrigue. Researching and hearing the masses shout" hey it`s only a weed,just like growing tomatoes".After all I can grow low tech plants in my aquarium.Lets do it.

Germinated 2 Blueberry autos and 2 Northern lights photo.No real plan just winging it.If they looked good I would buy a light and maybe a tent.By the time they got germinated I already did not know which was which.Put masking tape labels on the plastic hood then realized when I sprayed the pods I might have put the lid on backwards.Anyhow .After 4 days Put the pods in the window ledge under a 40 watt cfl 65k..Left light on 24 hours.About 4 days later put them in seedling potting soil 0.35-0.2-0.15 in 4 inch pots.Water with R O until 10 days later I decide it`s time to feed.Go with 50% Ro-50% tank water.Woops two days later they turn very very dark green.Flush with Ro and they recover.

Around day 16 I move them into 6 inch by 8 inch pots.Now the lady in the gardening shop tells me to use 0,03-0,01-0,04 all purpose which I also use when i move them into the final 3 gallon cloth pots.Only about 5 inches but I give them 70% Ro and 30% tank water.All good.Not on my calendar notes but I think I top them around this time.Now I`m going away for 6 days on the next feeding 70% Ro -30% tank I add in some trace elements.I have a 12 inch fan that I kinda put it on an angle to give some breeze.Gone fishing for six days.When I return Aug 16th it will be day 30 from seed.

JC I’ve been using nutrients called MegaCrop, I used about $12 in nutrients thru the whole 12/12 on four plants .

They have been under 3x23 watt 65k bulbs.Day 32 from seed I up sized from 6x8 inch pots to 3 g cloth pots,Put them under 600w light.Root balls looked respectable. Now big mistake seing e people water their pots until the water drains though the bottom and reading you can`t over water cloth pots I put in 1500ml of feed water.The first 2 days everything looked fine.Clearly they were not equipped to handle the flood.It took 10 days to dry out.Three of the plants still managed to get very bushy.

The next 3 feedings went ok,750 ml they drank it up in 4 or 5 days.Around day 39 started to see pistols .Day 48(Sept 2nd) I flipped to 12-12. Even tho 2 were autos and had not yet flowered the advice was "own it"the 2 autos are going to get 12 hours light.,

Next big mistake.After the flip I really cut back on the N (used aged tap water rather than tank water)and increased P K 2-1 ratio.After 14 days of head scratching and constantly trying to get answers I found out my strains prefer some of the N.That was Sept 24th when I went back to using tank water and they really responded.

Current status.Either auto Blueberry or Northern Lights photo?
About 35 days veg.
9-12 day preflower might have had some small buds late ?
28 days flower from 12-12.

Both of these plant were grown under the same conditions with different results.The smaller one when I transplanted from 4 inch to 6 inch the stem was kinda low down in the soil about inch above I decided not to redo and stress the roots.When I transplanted into 3 g pots I really over watered and it took 9-12 for the soil to dry which probably was the reason this plant did not do so well(root rot).

The question I have at this time is should I get four 24 inch bamboos stakes for the larger one and rig something up.

,14 days flower (,took 14 days to bud after 12-12 flip.)

The second plant the canopy was really flat 14 days ago and I was just gonna see what happened and let it grow.However only the top buds were getting light and after 7 days I strip it down.Within 48 hours where there was 8 buds now there was 88 buds.

I bought some Alaska Fish Bloom 0-10-10 for $12.The others nutrients will run me under 2 bucks for the 4 plant grow.

All four plants,Little bit of burn.Best pictures I got. Even the bottom leaves are all the same,so can`t see it being the light.Happened I think within hours of last feed.I recently switch from 1400 ml to 700 ml per feeding.So I will go ahead and add 700 ml of tap water 6.5 ph.I think I overdosed Phosphate.

Just winging on my feed.

2 liters of tap water .Dechlorinate with Prime conditioner.
add 1 ml cal (egg shells and vinegar).
add 1 level teaspoon of Epson salt (from hydro store).
10 ml mixed liquid trace.
2 ml mixed Phosphate (here I put in 4 ml by mistake.
Then 2 liters tank water.
Ph here is 7.5
Then I use Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10 to Ph down to 6-7 range.I never Ph up,will dump the mix or dilute.
i`m using ph drops to test.

TDS is in 500 ppm range.

Northern Lights end week 3.

Blueberry autos.5 weeks flower.Been under only 12 hours of light the last 5 weeks because I was also growing Photos.One got stunted when I moved to the 3 g pots and really over watered.Has since has stretched out but remains twiggy.The skinny one is the only one that the stems on the leaves are lime green in color.The other 3 plants the stems for the most part were reddish.Twiggy is showing no frost (the other 3 frosted when in second week of flower), I will substitute unsulphured molasses instead of Epson salt in her feed.

Blueberry auto,5 weeks flowering under 12 hours of light.Don`t know where I stand on flushing.This plant is furthest along.Spent an hour still could not figure out how to save pictures with new digital camera.

Two weeks ago I pulled some small bottom branches off Blueberry auto 3rd week in flower.Put them in a jar of tap water.Grew some roots I will see if I can get them to grow.Put rooting gel on roots.Under 23w 65k cfl,24 hours.

Humidity is in the 65-69 range when I slide the door close at night.With the door open the humidity is in the 52-58 range.

Could have gotten by with the mylar being 24-36 inches tall on the perimeter

Plant # 1 is two weeks ahead of the other 3 overall.

Weekly update.Added molasses to the feed plants ,really took to it.I will post some pictures of the plant furthest along.

42 days in flower

Blueberry auto,80% indica.Breeder has it at 50-60 days looks like it will take longer.Don`t think it`s ready for a 3X two week flush.Grew plenty of white pistols in the last week.Showing no amber.Any input appreciated.

The scrawny plant is coming along much better.

I notice a couple of amber tricome.Went ahead and did a 3x flush on the plant furthest along.47 days in flower,breeder has the Blueberry Auto plant at 55-60 days.Had a 2g watering can and a plastic milk crate,did it in the bath tub.The burn on the tips of all four plants has gotten slightly worse,they seem to growing and drinking fine.

Added feed after the flush.
