Malawi, Golden Tiger, Wild Thailand & Apple Betty From Herbies Seeds

Half way into Day 37.

I trimmed off the bottom two nodes leaving three !

The Girls now range in width from 10" to 14".

I am going to continue training them horizontally until they reach about 20" across, then I will let them Free ;)

The next stage of trimming will be to cut off any side branches outside of ~24" circle and manicure all the branches that populate the interior and try to maintain a level canopy.

End of Day 41...

Training continues. I'm moving some of my hooks everyday ! At 20" wide I'll stop sideways training.

BTW > Light is at the same height and the power is now @ 100% !

Each strain is now showing their individuality ;)

The Malawi is shorter than expected. Not sure if the Air Domes are doing anything so I clamped off it's hose about four days ago and don't see any difference, yet. She is still plugging along and looks healthy enough but doesn't appear to be breaking any records. It will be interesting so see what her root ball looks like at harvest. IIRC I turned on the air a few days Before the recommended 30.

The Wild Thailand wants to grow UP. She may need the hoop training later.

Apple Betty is what I expect from an Indica.

The Golden Tiger is turning into a Bush and will need some trimming soon !

Progressing nicely Chuck!
I think so too !

Really enjoying another version of assertive training.

I used to have a space where I just them go but the trimming at harvest was a killer.

Keeping them corralled and just aiming for only large, full buds without a concern about total yield is fun ;)

Not having to spend more than a half hour per plant for a wet trim is the Bonus :yahoo:

Do you remember when the beer store was closed on Sunday?
Last call was 11 pm.
Don't miss drinking anymore. Hehe
I'm retired so every day is Saturday for me.
Was self employed for 30 years doing construction.
Worked 7 days a week then, dawn till dusk.
Don't miss that either.
Don't burn yourself out my friend.
Take some time for yourself. :passitleft:

I wasn't planning on topping anymore than the first time. But, at some point I'm going to have to get in there and clean out some side branches along with lollipopping the bottom !

The original plan was to leave no more than twelve tops but she seems to want to be a Bush ;)

Cheers
I just put a couple of GT 3 seeds in H2O last night and plan on low stress training which I have never done. Most of the time I have manifolded previous plants in the past with good results. However I have seen some impressive GT plants with low stress training so I going to give it a try with these aggressive GT3's. Good luck...
