The purple Bagseed has a complex flavor. The best I can describe it is; chocolate covered cherry hash. It has an earthy chocolate aroma. The high is balanced, but more up and a little spacey.
The Northern Lights has a wonderful floral taste and smell, and is very sticky. Breaking it up to make joints results in finger hash. High is balanced, but leans more toward the body stone.
Both are good smoke. They just need a little more curing.
After another look at the trichs, it looks like the Kalichakras will come down this weekend. One smells like Lifesavers candy, and the other smells really dank. The Organic Bagseed looks like it will go another week. She will be well flushed. I stopped feeding her the beginning of this month, thinking she would be ready sooner.

Thanx, OldMedMan! Yea, I got lucky with that mold. It wasn't much, and it happened right at harvest. My room stays pretty dry, Just gotta watch those big temp changes.
It must be a pain for growers in the desert.Thanx, Butcher! I'm still in the process of reading your journal.
lol I transplanted the clones today. I have 2 Kalichakras and one Runt clone. The Runt is my experimental "mother" plant. I put mother in quotes because its sex is unknown. We'll find out with this clone. The 2 Kalichakras in flower will be harvested this week. The Organic BS will be close behind. Then the flower room will be empty and ready for the clones. I'm not sure about the 2 revegging California Orange girls. They don't look so great. I do have 4 seeds, so if they don't come around, I'm covered. Sorry I don't have any pics.
My camera won't charge up. Hopefully I can figure it out, since my bro is away hunting.
clones that were cut from flowering take tiem, so dont be discouraged. They'll come around. Good to see you have back up seeds..

The clones I took are doing great. The two plants my friend gave me are the ones I'm worried about. I'll post some pics and an update on them, probably tomorrow. Thanx for lookin' out for me, Butcher!

Well, I actually managed to kill a plant.
I've been so busy at work this past week, that the flowering girls went without water for about 6-7 days. I was getting home so late that the lights were already off. Anyway, the Organic Bagseed didn't make it. It was totally dried up, and all leaves were dead and brown. I tried watering but, it did nothing. So I just cut it and here are the results.
It is sticky but, I think it lost some of it's smell and taste. It was practically dried and cured on the plant! It also had a bit of mold in the main cola. I ended up with 47.8g.
On the other hand, the two Kalichakras looked fine. They were barely even drooping! I harvested K1 today. K2 looks like it can go a little longer. K1 is the fruity one and K2 is the skunky one. Here's K1 cut.
I can't wait to try it! One more to go, and I'll be starting my third journal!
I take those any day.

Thanx, OMM! Yea, I don't think the dead buds will make good smoke. But, they will make good hash or butter!
Phat and munki. You guys made me go and check. I did find a few bananas, but no seeds.
This particular plant has running buds with fat calyxes. I gave the remaining girl a good once over and found a couple of bananas. It'll be coming down tomorrow. Thanx for lookin' out guys! Here's some bud porn from her. See if you can spot the bananas!
Here's what's going on in the veg room. I cut the top 1/3 off the runt, and found that my mother plant is really a father. Oh well, I 'll get rid of him, but keep his clone just in case I can breed later.
Here are the two Kalichakra clones. I trimmed the bottom of the first one, and will trim the other one. They are 14" tall. Since this strain stretches so much, they are going into flower tomorrow.
Here are the two California Orange. I go these from a friend who was getting rid of them. He had just put them outside and forgot about them. They went into flower due to the short days. They are revegging quite well now. I was thinking of putting them in flower tomorrow, or taking clones.
This one had fallen over before I got it, so it's sideways like it was LSTed.

I tougth I saw a couple bananas and a seed or 2.
They looked green tho. Good thing you spotted some on the other plant before it did damage.

Yea, I found a few bananas on K1. I cut open some of the fatter calyxes and found no trace of seed. I should have separated that paragraph. It's time for her to come down. After all, it is the beginning of week 13! All my plants seem to take two weeks longer than normal to mature. This is a 10 week strain. I go by trichomes though. I like to see a couple of amber ones. That's what I was waiting for. They're about 90% cloudy now, so it should be good to go.
