Mariwannna's First Grow, Indoor, Soil, T5, 1000W HPS, Five Strains, Auto

Looks like everything is on cruise control gonna be a jungle soon.

Thats kinda my only concern right now... keeping the amnesias in veg while I wait for the autos to finish and then flipping the switch on them.

And here is the color corrected top view of Northern Light Blue that I missed in the last upload:

Day 42 Since Germination:

I think I've got some weirdness going on... The plant that is furthest along, my Northern Light Blue, is developing buds and has been looking great but I noticed some yellowing leaves on the bottom. There are a couple others showing yellow leaves - you'll see that in the pics. I'm quite positive that a few of the leaves have dipped into the nutrient water at different times - I was a little careless and my watering can has an open top. I watered all of the girls yesterday with plain water with a ph between 5.5 and 6 - 7 gallons total. My soil has constantly tested at a ph of 7 for the entire life cycle so far - but I think my tester is kinda shitty and doesn't measure especially accurately. I started adding Tiger Bloom nutes to the water in the last feeding - following the Fox Farms schedule.

Even though I watered yesterday, the pots feel light enough that I could prolly water again without overwatering but I'm hesitant because I don't want to overwater. I'd really appreciate some advice on what I should do and what the problem might be. HELP! I'm kinda freaking out.

Well shit. My runoff just tested at a ph of 5.3 - it went in at 6.2. I'll test the soil in a bit. I don't know what happened, I haven't changed my process at all. It could definitely be the cause of the yellowing leaves. I'll keep an eye on it and try to correct the situation in the next feeding.

Day 44 -

No real updates, just wanted to check on the girls. I'm considering cutting the photoperiod Amnesia plants down a bit to keep them below the autos and develop more tops for when I do switch them to flowering. The soil ph read around 7 or just below on all the girls. I'm going to ph my water to 6.5-7 in the next watering to make up for my runoff being low the last time. I'm also gonna add more nitrogen to the next feeding with nutrients (plain water next, nutes in the feeding after that).

Day 46

No more yellowing leaves have appeared, so that's good. I'm about to water all the ladies with plain water ph'ed to 6.8 - the soil is still reading right at, or just below, 7.

Northern Light Blue is still kicking ass at the bud development. Crystal Meth has really sped up and is showing good development on the main cola (she didn't get topped). King Tut is starting to show early flowering signs.

The 3 photoperiod Amnesia Molotov girls are beasts... I'm going to trim away quite a bit, maybe do some reading and take some cuttings. They'll have plenty of time to recover since I'm not switching my lights to 12/12 until the autos are done. I'm thinking strongly about moving them out from under the LEDs and back under the T5 to free up some space in the grow area.

Good news! Water went in around ph of 6.8-7 and came out at around 6.5. I measured each plant's runoff individually and straight off the pot to ensure no contamination.

I'm really unsure of myself about cutting the Amnesia plants. I don't wanna eff it up. I should just do it - it'll either be good or a learning experience.

Measuring ph when you're colorblind really sucks. I need to get a digital pen. Any recommendations?

You can get one from Amazon for just a little money ($20). Will pay in the long run.

Okay... two updates in one...

Day 47 (May 18):

I watered the autos with 1 tablespoon of Big Bloom, 1 tablespoon of Grow Big and 1 tablespoon of Tiger Bloom per gallon of water, ph'ed to 6.8 - 4 gallons across 7 plants. Growth looks good, buds developing, happiness all around.

I decided to pull the photos from the grow area because it was getting too packed. I cut two of them into clones and kept one unharmed under the T5. I'm going to use the clones to keep the genetics alive and to experiment on until they are ready to go back into the tent. I'm also going to use the mother plants to see just how much I can abuse them and how the new growth, if any, grows out.

Day 49 (May 20):

So now I have all the autoflowers under the LEDs and the photoperiod plants have been moved and cloned. Pictures below are taken just before watering today with plain water ph'ed to 6.8 - 5 gallons across 7 plants. The clones were taken from my biggest Amnesia Molotov plant (Amnesia 7) and a few from Amnesia 5. I was pretty aggressive because I want to see how they react and I have another Amnesia that I'll keep unharmed and under veg lights. Since I have limited space, I'm going to experiment on 13 of the clones and keep 3 as my baseline set (following a similar grow as the current one).

Day 52

I fed the girls two days ago with 1 tablespoon of Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom per gallon of water, ph'ed to 6.8 - 4 gallons total across 7 plants. They all looked good - getting really tall. I watered them today with water ph'ed to 6.8 - 5 gallons total across 7 plants. The Tutankhamons are getting overly tall - reaching up to the lights - and I'm out of room. I'm not sure what to do.
