Wow thank you so much for those words. It means a lot to have the friendships and connections within this great commu ity. Having our own space for like minded human beings is a true Eden during these hard times. I wish you health and mental well being always. ThanknyouWell I had the same issue as Sara with PMing @Jack420 but I did give my thoughts to both @SmokeSara and @BubbleBucketz and I will share the reasons here for my vote as well.
As this competition was to provide someone with the new light in order to showcase a comparison grow between the 2 lights, new and old.

Of all the entries, a few stood out making the decision quite difficult, but here is my criteria and thinking for my decision as I PM’d Sara earlier:
As Sara wants the winner to do a comparative grow between the 250 and 3000, I am using the following as my criteria:
”well known member” tells me they have been here awhile and likely to do the comparison
good, clear pictures
active in the thread and on the forum
has the space to do side by side comparison
as nice a setup as MasterTarzan has and does a nice job of pictures, he’s only been here a few months so I am passing on him
this leaves me looking at Ganjagrandaddy and Mumps as my top picks and leaning towards Ganjagrandady as I see him everywhere, every time I pop in and he has a playful sense of humour and I believe he will do a good job bringing in watchers to help promote the light for Mars.
So I am voting for @Ganjagrandaddy - with special mention going out to @mumps, and the nearsighted @Mr. Magoo

Wow just catching up on the thread now. So stoked Jack again thank you for your support buddy. I do love these lights and would love to do a 3 way comparison with them now. TLS2000 V TS3000 v SP250. 3 x 3 of the same strain , one under each light in 2 different mediums. Could be interesting and a good live comparison. Thanks again growmie.

Thankyou very much for your support . I am amazed at the comments from this and feel very honoured to come across as I have. Thank you, it means a lot to me. I am a big fan of the Mars lights since finding the Mars thread and Sara's huge contributions to the forum here. I feel her presence has made the conversion to new standards for many of us here have been non pushy , respectful and totally honest. I love being a Marsian and a part of this corner of 420. Wish I had more time to dedicate to the grows and leave life at the door. I am at a good point to set up from scratch and seeds waiting to go too. . Thank you again for your cote and support. Seeing the great entries here is always good to pour over and dribble at and we all love the budporn. Lol.

You are very welcome. I also am a grower with all Mars-Hydro lights. I run the TS-1000, 2 TSL-2000's, 1-SP-250 which I am adding a second one next week and one TS-3000. I could not be more happier with them myself. Congrats again though, I am looking forward to see the grow when you get it going.

With you on this bud. Forum is so honest and informative. I mulled around it trying to defend my HPS set up against this LED trickery and failed at every point when I was seeing the buds and yields they were getting. Being able to quiz and question real growers with actual input of Smokesara too is a winner all round. Seeing the brilliant responses from growers by Mars in new designs and improvements is a first for my experience of any product. I am.so glad I converted and so is Mrs GG . Electricity company are not so happy at the loss and have taken me off their Christmas card list since Mars. Lol

Franks. Lol been called a few things in my time , weed is a new one. Hahahaha thanks buddy. Have to agree with comments in Tarzens grow too. Being able to concentrate totally on the green and feeds because we know the light is covered , for me is a bonus. Not having to be too concerned about the "best spot" for the plants under the sp250 is good too. I really rate them now I have seen them in action. Thank you for your support Celt. I am so honoured to be winning and appreciate the kind words buddy. You have a really nice setup and do an awesome job with pictures. You were a front runner in this, but as Sara wants to showcase the new light in a side-by-side grow against the old version, I went with a well known member who pops up everywhere I have been, he’s almost like a weed himself

I havent heard anything official yet but I would like to thank everyone for the support here. I am grateful beyond explaining and feel very honoured to be picked to do it. The timing is perfect for.me as I am just finishing my second grow with the tsl /sp combo with great results. I was wondering what to do next to keep things productive and interesting and BINGO this happens. Tha k you so much and I now.have a plan for the perfect test.
1x tsl2000 with 3 strains
1x sp250 with 3 the same
1x sp3000 with 3 the same
This will give me identical strains under each light. I know phenotypes can play a part in strain genetics but this should not affect too much as I will train them all in quad line. I find this method and the canopy possible , gives me the best light coverage and bud development.
These will be grown in 2 different mediums being NFT and living organic soil.
I will start them off with the sp250 or sp3000 dependant on what would be of most interest to see or maybe try the dimmer function out .
I will happily journal this with the help of the community here and would love to give it a very inclusive feel to what we want to see /achieve ect. Any advice and comments ts with the huge experience and knowledge among the group will be heard and responded to in the best way I can. I will be honest and impartial on my opinions as I know this is what I would want from anybody else doing this comparison.
I look forward to hearing more and hope I havent jumped the gun. Sorry to my other growmies that were not successful but we do still have sp250's to grin like Cheshire cats over now they are no longer available. Many a concerto played on an old violin as they say. Peace and love GG
