Question ?

One plant that is due to be harvested in one week the leaves are going deep yellow n drying up now ! Stems are still strong attached to the buds!

What to do with them I know why n So on but should I remove these leaves as the plant becomes ready to Harvest or leave them ?

I have bud rot on one plant I new it kinda suspect due to it being cramped n high humidity 1st 1-3wks flowering rest of the plants are okay I haven't messed around I got in there cut it out n then for precautionary safety measure I cut it from the stem to be 100% sure n a good job I did !

Daiquiri lime Dutch passion it's very leafy the cola so I'm. Not supervised tbh

Oh I've addressed the other question on the dark devil plant ! The yellow leaves I removed them that's not the bud rot plant .

I was suspect on the base I cut it from so cut if further down I lose most of the plant but it's a safety/ precautionary measure to make sure there is no but rot evident !

Deffo better now don't want to lose the entire crop for 1 plant sensible !

After removing the bud rot n cutting out the bud I dried it n smoked some !

2 weeks before harvest Daiquiri Line very nice smoke .... Here some pics lights off n lights on !

Back row let n middle 2 weeks

Middle back row was topped so might need 3 weeks n not 2

Anyway they look awesome rest of buds appear okay !

Dried a few samples and Smoke is 5 ️ n not even finished yet . pulled a bit of bud out n found a seed !

Will this be an auto strain ?

I cut down the Dark devil at 8.5 weeks the rest I'm waiting for the tricomes to change from milky to Amber !

It's gone over 10 weeks now n the haven't changed ?

Also had bud rot small amount on 2 plants removed the rot n rest of the crop appears okay so far

So should be harvesting this week

Then the 11 week mark n 8.5 week mark is complete Sunday for the following plants

Thanks for sharing your journal. Where was the bud rot and how did you ID it? Were you looking for it particularly?

Hi Calvados

It's a lil crammed in there 12 plants 1.2m set up and I had the humidity hi 1st 2 weeks flowering !

It was on the daiquiri lime Dutch passion main cola centre I just cut some of it out n the rest appears okay !

Plus the Colorado cookies main stem 3rd bud below main cola appeared rusty in colour like a patch n the lime I noticed the leaves were Browningyellowing n coming out when pulled so I was suspect of it!

Anyway just waiting on the trichomes to change

It says 10 n 11 weeks until harvest from seed but I went over 10 weeks on Sunday

Dark devil 8.5 weeks smoked it already small yeild !

Not sure ! Doing a smaller crop next time maybe 6 plants

I did 7 in that size tent. I'm going to try 2 to 4 next time. From what I've learned on this site it seems that the plants will fill the space more productively with some topping and training. For my first grow I was more concerned about not killing the plants. Now that I've gotten that out of the way I will focus on shaping them during the veg phase to maximise the number of top growing COLAs. I think I will end up with a higher and better quality yield.

Harvesting time question ?

When the trichomes go from cloudy to amber when should I harvest I know about 30%

But on one plant on a couple top buds there are some ambers appearing !

Do you let other bud sites go amber as well or just the 1st sign before harvesting ?
