time for an update?

So.. the plants keep on growing, I thought they would quit by now, but I guess not.

Since yesterday, a couple of the plants (Kali Mist) have grown into the lights

Note to self (again) stick with one.. maybe two strains in the aeroflo. too much difference in height between the strains. The Kali Mist's are monsters.. the stalks are about an inch in diameter.

For the record, my wife thinks I'm a numbers nazi now. The room temp stays between 70 and 75. The RH stays between 40 and 50 (is this good??? I'm not sure where I should be??) The water temp is about 69 to 72. I keep the ph at 5.7, sometimes I let it creep up to 5.9. The ppm is between 1400 and 1500. I think that might be a little high, but the plants haven't shown any signs of problems. I'm going to cut it back to about 1300 or so just to be safe though. (Corey if you read this.. any thoughts?) Should I be adding anything else besides your three part?

Its crazy to see that much growth after that trimming you gave them on the same thread page, that aeroflow is def. providing some fast growth.

The number nazi idea sounds like you're a perfectionist which isn't necessarily a bad thing, i think if you really wanted to you could let those numbers fluctuate a little more, but keeping them where they are seems to be working fine and from what i know your numbers are spot on unless you're enriching with CO2 you want to run ambient temps little higher... not to mention your plants look awesome.

My plants are having the same problem with you stretching almost into the light although none of them have reached the glass yet lol, are your leaves curling at all when they get that close?

What day of flower are you in?

I am surprised, but the plants show NO ill effect from being that close (or even touching) the LED's. I have both lights running at full effect. (both red & blue) and still no curling, burning, or anything. I can't believe it.

I had to go back and look, but today is day 30 of 12/12. Next grow.. less time in 18 hours before 12/12. Next time... all the same, or at least almost all the same strains in the aero. Next time... Next time... haven't even finished this grow yet.. and already planning the next one. I think I'm addicted. To growing that is.

Ya I'm the same way haha i have big plans already and my first grow isn't even finished yet, hopefully it won't hurt my pockets too much.

It looks like that aero is about three feet off of the ground, seems that anything that is sativa dominant would be unrealistic to grow because of the nasty stretchyity stretch stretch.

Hey Salty, The Aero is not quite that high but still sorta tall at 22". My mistake this time and the plants in there are all sativa dominant, so not sure how this is going to end up. Back to your question about burn from the lights. Yes, the one that was touching did end up with some damage, but not much. I'll try to get pics of that tonight.

Bassman59... thanks for the kind words. Maybe in a year or so I'll have a little more confidence.. right now I keep going in to see if I've killed them all yet...

Yes, things are moving along wonderfully. I have been extremely busy with work, which has cut into my online goof-off time.

I do have some pictures I need to get up loaded. Hopefully I can do that tonight.
