SB0916 First Grow White Widow DWC

First grow attempt and decided to try DWC. Started with 3 feminized White Widow seeds placed in a plastic bag which sprouted in 6 days. I probably kept the seeds in the bag for too long as the tap roots were fairly long.

The seeds were placed in rockwool cubes but one died fairly soon after. The two remaining seedlings were placed in DWC 18 days from seed. DWC was prepared with General Hydroponics trio per instructions. One seedling ended up splitting into 2 stems right away but not sure if it's because of how I placed the seeds and roots into the rockwool cubes.

I decided to try mainlining and after some success with adjusting ph, ppm, humidity, heat, lighting and adding CalMag and Hydroguard things appear to have been going well (1-25-21). So far both plants have had 2 cuts with one plant having 4 colas and the other plant with 6 colas (the plant with 2 stems appeared to be growing slower and one of the colas wasn't growing well so it was cut off).

I'll sit in if you dont mind I also have a r(dwc) with 5 critical widow fem that has just been flip to flower had them veg for 53 days very excited to see how your grow goes( my girl are sleeping now but will post a pic for you soon):hookah::goodluck::woohoo::welcome:
Looking forward to seeing them. I want to get at least one more cut in so I can have 8 colas on the bigger plant and let them grow for a while before flipping to flower. I may be trying to do too much as this is my first grow but all seems to be going well right now so....

Here she is with 2 more of her sisters

They're beautiful!! You've got a great looking setup too. Eventually I want to get a bigger grow room but I started small in case I couldn't do it well lol. Have you ever had to deal with nitrogen toxicity? I think mine are starting to show the signs with dark green fan leaves and clawing on the ends of them. I did a partial flush the other day but I think i need to do a full flush even though its not due for another week or so. Yours are definitely impressive looking!

Well, I use this as a little help but I never really had a problem with nitrogen toxicity. I gradually raised my nutes to my liking and just see how my plants reacts, as you see in the pictures (overhead) as soon as I see a burnt tip I stop adding nutes and give them a little extra plain old ph water. If you look at the same picture the below leaves are a nice green with no burnt tips. Now the claw leaf can be a bunch of things a picture would be better and more people would chime in with some good advice.

Two days ago I diluted both reservoirs with spring water which dropped ppm down to approximately 770. Also did the 3rd and last cutting so one plant has 8 colas and the other has 12 colas. Both appear to be doing much better and growing well daily.

Flipped to 12/12 on Feb 1 and looks like the mainlining and trimming have worked well. Ppm around 900, ph around 6.2, lights at 100% 18" above canopy with a total of 20 colas. Hoping to see the beginning of some buds within the next couple weeks.

So after a long absence - partially related to us enjoying our first harvest - I'll wrap this up here.

We wet trimmed after 60 days of flowering when the trichomes were mostly cloudy. After drying for several days the net weight for both plants was a little over 4 ounces. The flower was cured to about 62-65% and has a distinct piney taste but is very smooth and not harsh at all. The high is better than I hoped for it being our first grow.

We used the trim to make some cannabutter and ended up with three 4 ounce sticks at approximately 280 mg thc each. We figured this out be using a formula for having 32 grams of trim at 3% thc. We don't know whether or not that's accurate but the cookies we made with one stick kept us really buzzed for 4 hours lol.

We just started 3 banana kush plants in a 48x48x80 tent which is twice as big as the one we just used. We also upgraded to a MH TSW2000.
