congratulations on your first harvest , nice job. Trim won't mold overnight, you could store in refrigerator if you want to process after adding Mary's's greenery.

Thanks very much . I'm excited to make some oil with the trim. Going to try doing it this evening and dig out my spare carbon filter for the kitchen as they STINK!

The smell was so strong in my shed yesterday when chopping them up that it actually gave me a headache . although I was in there for like 5-hours!

Hopefully the next harvest I'll be a bit quicker.

Bit harsh on the throat to smoke but then it's only just dry & I'm not used to smoking.

I'm not super stoned but it's defiantly got more than 1% THC! First 10-mins and it's quite a heavy head stoned, then it chills out more and feel very relaxed.

I'm looking forward to vaping it! The trim is almost completely dry so hoping to make my first mini batch tomorrow when my fan for the spare carbon filter arrives!

I'm sure it will smoke much better once cured.

Yeh I'm sure there indica aswell.

Apparently the Indica is meant to be slightly lower CBD levels but not any higher in THC.

The "stoned" feeling passes quite quickly, I think it will take a bit getting used too lol

I smoked the whole thing, so maybe I'll try just a couple of hits from my pipe instead next time. It is giving me a headache but again think it's from not being cured.

Have to say now the stoned feeling has worn off, I feel pretty good in that I have energy and my back isn't hurting and that's without pain killers. So that's nice. Hopefully once it's cured I then won't get a headache

Day 3 of drying. The outside of the buds are feeling pretty much dry but the small stems still not snapping so I think maybe another day or so before going into jars

The trim feels completely dry now so providing my fan arrives today I'll be making some VG extract tonight. So will post with how that goes! I have changed my plan slightly to decarb it at 220f for 90-mins, then chop it up more and put in slow cooker on low for 30-Mins. Then onto warm setting for 6-12 hours depending on how it seems to be blending.

Ok so in the process of making the extract

Cooked 20 grams of trim in oven for 90-mins at 220F on a baking tray with a baking bag over it to protect the trim.

Put 300ml of VG and blended (hand blender) with trim until it's mushy


Then poured the mixture into a mason jar. Filled crockpot half way with water and put mason jar inside (again in a baking bag just to protect it more).

Put on low heat for 30-mind which is around 40c. Turned it a few times.



Then removed and gave it a good shake. Put crockpot on warm setting and will now leave it for 12-hours. (On timer).

Will see how it vapes tomorrow.

Per 11ML the strength should be around 1200MG CBD.

So when I dilute it with more VG+PG (50/50 ratio) it should then be around 600MG per 30ML bottle.

Will post tomorrow once vaped with how it is lol

Some Gear No Idea - First Grow Under CFLs & LED - Candida CBD Strain

Good morning . so now straining out the mixture to remove all the plant matter from it, using cheese cloth



After straining it out I got about 200ml back so about what I was expecting.

I've then put it into bottles, varying the dosage a bit. Some I've done to be around 200mg and others 600mg.

I have filled about 20 bottles with 20ML of it so I can dilute it more if it's too strong as there 30ml bottles.

The remaining VG I put in a jar in the fridge there's around another 30ML left over to make more with or top up with if I want them stronger.

I still have another 25-grams of trim to use so can make another batch.

Will vape tonight and post on effects

Vape report:

Really nice relaxing, calming vape with no headache or heavy stoned feeling, just a nice relaxing high.

The only bad point is it tastes awful on its own (orally it tastes fine, the vape after taste is yucky!) like fresh grass taste, but I imagine cured bud will taste a lot nicer & if I use a strong menthol ejuice flavouring it covers up the taste quite well.

Think I'll wait to make another batch tho with actual bud so it hopefully tastes nicer. And the rest of the trim I'll use to make some butter and go into brownies .

Loving the feeling from the vape tho. The 600mg dose is what I'm vaping and it's about right for me. Think my mum will need to start with the lower dose and work her way onto the higher one.

So last report, dry weight is around 3oz of bud & I had about 2oz of trim. So not bad for my first go around.

There now in jars curing .

My next grow won't be too far in the future but think may have to wait till we've moved now I know how much stink there is during harvest lol I'm glad I kept the spare carbon filter as it's done a good job of clearing up the smell!

Congrats geek - 3oz from 3 plants in your first go is amazing dude. My mature girls are close now but I don't think I'll match your 1oz/plant.

Nice grow! The pc cabinet brought back memories from when i started to grow aye 20 years ago....... (really feel like an oldtimer....)

I also have a Candide in my growtent now. I'm completely new to growing high CBD plants. It behaving somewhat different than what im used to. Lot of stretching and sleazy than the other with low CBD.

Are you happy with the results when you smoke it, compared to regular high THC? I have cronic pain in my neckspine. So I am in search of that strain that fits like a puzzel piece for my pain and need.
