But my main problem os grow height, so i dont want them getting bigger them 20cm in vegs and then flip to bloom because i know they double in space when blooming.. And i only have a total of 80cm grow height with pots included. I was thinking of topping, lsting and maybe even scrogging to keep them short as possible, what you think? Am i on the right track here...

I don't like Scrog much, the inconvenience outweighs the benefits to me, but up to you.
Toping does not make a plant shorter, use lst or hst and short veg time. If you are using toping to shorten a plant then that means you grew it too tall to begin with and you're wasting time.

Hey Chronic, I like your enthusiasm and I understand, growing is exciting stuff, but can I suggest trying to keep it as simple as possible.

LST is probably the easiest and lowest amount of effort, maybe a bit of cropping. With LST you should be able to stay under 20cm (8"). If you LST from the beginning cropping isn't really necessary because the branches will grow out from the low parts of the plant. Cropping can supplement the LST so that you have more tops but only if you really want to.

I would save the full SCROG or SOG until I had a few grows under my belt.

Sea of green? That method is pretty useless for most people.
Just stick with heavy lst or hst and you are fine.

i got rid of the two big plants but kept the small one. i dont think she was a hermie afterall. from the looks of things she is a female.

here are some pics of her. she is flowering nicely and like i said no visible male pods.

how do you guys tell if she is ready for harvest?

Examine the trichomes with a microscope or loupe to see if they are mostly opaque. Mostly transparent is not ready, mostly amber is too ready.

Yeah dont have any of those and not gonna spend money on that now.. Guess will just check by eye when they turn darker as they still white as snow.. Lol .. Thanks for the input..

My pocket microscope was $8 and loupe was $3. Not expensive to do it right.

If you don't want to get it then I would run the Thunderpaws 10 weeks as that usually works well.

To make the best out of the little plant try to get as much direct sun hitting it as possible. No light at night either. Don't forget to fertilize it a little more in bloom too.

Also don't overwater the plant. Only water when it has a chance to dry the soil out at least the top 5cm deep.

Just had a quick look. How many times does it need to magnify, i can get a cheapy that magnifies x7.. Is that good or do o need more?

so in two days the top cola has started to show some purple in the flower, kinda got me excited to see how she turns out. How this is good and not bad lol
