I have 10 regular seeds I just dropped in water that I will be growing sea of green in my homemade 3ft x 3ft Ebb and Flow table in my stealth grow room under 1000w metal halide for veg then hps for flower.

Oh and I should've mentioned I will be allowing pollination to occur in at least 1 plant so I can get many free seeds.

I'm hoping that my pollination attempts will be successful. I'm only few weeks away from harvest. Can't wait to crack open the few buds I pollinated. Like I said, good luck... I'm gonna stay tuned.

Definitely update me on the results. How did you pollinate?

Update. I saw taproots popping out last night so I popped them in some rapid rooter plugs and put them in my humidity dome under a light. Already have 2 or 3 pushing the little plugs out of the holes. I'm as excited as a kid on Christmas morning.

Great news. I planted 10 seeds and got 10 sprouts. Oh it's a joyous day for me and mine because this is the first perfect success rate for sprouting yet for me. Now all I have to do is keep them all alive. That's the easy part right? Haha.

All 10 are opened up and growing. Hopefully they won't stretch too much. I have them under 69 total watts cfl as of now. Fingers crossed.

Well I pussed out and supported the stalks with some foam golf balls I cut in half then put a slit in. I have lost seedlings that stretched too much and fell over. Didn't want to risk it again.

Yeah. I had green, yellow, red, and blue. Figured I'd go with green. They seem to work pretty well for supporting the stalks.

I freed up my room by moving some plants outside. Yay. Now I have moved my seedlings up to the grow room and they are placed in the ebb and flow table under 400w mh

Well they have been in the flood and drain table for a week now under 400 watts metal halide with a light nute mix of about 200 ppm. They are responding beautifully to the conditions and are producing their third nodes now with far less stretching than early on.

Hydroton with lava rock mixed in. I had ordered hydroton but didn't have enough and was short on money so I went the cheap route and finished it with lava rock. It works though.

Oh yeah. I bumped my light up to 600 watts and bumped my nutes to around 400 ppm. It's been a few days at these new settings and they seem to be loving it. I'll give it a couple more days before I push the nutes up again.
