there's times where I wish I had one. spending entire days trimming gets old fast.
I wet trim. The unit comes with two blades. A serrated for dry trimming, and straight for wet.
The keys are:
1. Don't overload the trimmer. Less is more. If you overload, the buds begin piling up on each other, and they don't get trimmed evenly.
2. Cut off all exposed stems. Those will fall into the grate, and stop the spinning blade. The blade is razor sharp.
3. Turn the handle slow. I mean real
s l o w. It takes me 5 seconds to make one turn. I do 12 turns clockwise, and 12 turns counterclockwise. Done.
4. If you have a super big, bragging size bud, consider trimming that one by hand. It's too big for the trimmer.

Once trimmed, I hang the buds in those vertical hanging mesh baskets until dry. When dry, you have beautiful tight dispensary quality buds.
