Installed the trellis , it’s quite thick in there.

Stable ph at 6 and ppm steady at 620 for a little over a day , just above 1.2 ec

Day 7 of flower( aka streach)

The lady’s have finished 7 days flower , had the lights turned up a bit early hoping they would accept but they were a bit hesitant.

We will call this there first bump , an introduction of what’s coming .

All in all this has been very stable . Ph stays the same , the ppm goes down ever so slightly and the solution level , well that changes daily.

And the plants they speak for themselves.

They do have some abuse marks but I do have them praying not laying.

Since opening the option the photone app I have a more info to manage.

I have been using the manufacturer recommendations and surely there correct. Yes and no

But there is fine line with led when things pick up in many aspects.

The ladies are stretching and I have managed a solid 3.5sq for now with many out to 4 or more.

Have been in and out of the zone this week as some evenings there 2 inches longer.

I know the first week I would have been giving a bit too much dli as coming out off veg I had the pedal down .
( moving forward this is an easy adjustment )

Now this is the next ?
This is not about saving money .

If you plant grows well at 600 ppfd

Does running at 100 at a 6/8 inches higher (34 inches from canopy) send out more penetration through the canopy then say hanging at 24 dimmed to the 600 ppfd?

When you say 100 do you mean % of power? Watts? PPFD?

IDK if I’ve misunderstood your question, but more PPFD = better penetration. Up to the point where your canopy can cope anyway.

Also, depending on your footprint lifting the light may reach further to the edges of course. Pretty sure that wasn’t what you meant.

A side note. If you are measuring PPFD. Word is that anything down low in the canopy that gets less than 200μmol/m²/sec is an energy sink costing the plant more than it contributes.

Yes i have 2 lady bugs , there kind of fun to see.

The question was if there be any difference in penetration level into the canopy .

Eg 600 ppfd at 36 inches lights on 100%

Compared to 600 at 24 but would be dimmed accordingly.

That’s were I was going with that?

Opening the flap each evening to see if what you did from the night before made a change

14 full flowering days

Ladies are back to 8 litres a days, there was a feed at day 9 that slowed the flow a bit but I know no other way to apply.
