TimHomeGrow Fastbuds Bluedreamatic Auto In Soil

Could just be new cellular growth new growth will appear yellowing at first before it produces more chlorophyll.
I was wondering about that too. It grew a bunch from last night to this morning when I noticed the yellowing.

Last time it yellowed the leaves got real dark and shiny....which I'm not seeing now, so maybe all is good in the hood.

Trying my hand at cannabutter tonight with the popcorn bud, sugar leaves, from my last grow ;)

I don’t see a problem with the leaves. Is that pic under an led light? That will make the leaves look paler than they are. I usually am giving about a half gallon watering at that stage. I did find them to be hungry and thirsty plants. My problems ended up being heat I finally figured out after the fact, but I still got a lot of good bud.

Day 20

The girls are doing well and starting their 5th node and drinking well. I upped my MC to 3.25g/gal since they seem to be taking it well and also increased my watering to 34oz per plant every 48hrs. It may be soon when I start watering to run off...just don't want drown them ha

Soon they get the top ;) @13goody13 ...top first then wait a week to remove the bottom two node? I want to try your 3,4,5, node training. Or do you do both at once?

It depends on how lengthy those branches are. Really the training can start as soon as you’re able to manipulate those branches and tie them down safely. It looks like yours will be a few days before there is enough to really grab onto, but it won’t be long. Leave those lower branches until you are ready to start training. Looking good!

Day 24

Man, leave the girls alone for a couple of days and they go wild ha.

Left early Thursday for a fishing trip so I gave the girls extra water knowing I would be gone for a few days and apparently it wasn't enough. I'm seeing what I think is dryness issues so I think it's safe to start watering to run off from now on.

I wanted to top after the 5th node. Unfortunately it wasn't ready 62 hours ago and now the 6th node has started. After I rest tonight and think about my plan, I may top two in the morning. Can't do the @13goody13 training technique unless I amend it by training the 3, 4,5,6 nodes ha.

Am I too late to top or is it safe to top after 6 nodes? I'll think about tomorrow hen my head is clear. Time to smoke some Tim Home Grow and relax ☺

Definitely healthy, very little dark leaf tips, and only on a few. They just need a drink like I do ha. I can't get over how much they grew in 2.5 days.

Btw 013....that low and slow bud is amazing! Smell, taste, potency. Thank you so much for that tip!

Glad you liked the low & slow.... it’s so simple and gives a great result.

I noticed the bottom compartment of my grinder filled with trichs faster on my low & slow cure bud when compared to bud from same harvest that were hung dry and jarred. It was bizarre especially since all the bud came from a single plant harvested. Oh and the terps were sensational from low & slow.

Day 27

The girls got names today. Top left is Danielle, top right is Katie and bottom is Amy. I let them dry a bit before watering to runoff today with 4g MC.

Danielle and Katie got topped two days ago, guessing that 5th node branch will be a few more days to a week before I can train @13goody13 to do your technique ? And I take off nodes 1 and 2 completely and the fan leaf stems from 3,4, and 5?

I'm seeing pistils start on all the girls too ;).

Humidity was a bit higher than normal today 58-62, guessing since it's not as hot my AC isn't kicking on as much. Glad I have a big dehumidifier from the first grow when I had the tent in the garage, may need it during flowering.

Day 29

Two days ago the girls got watered to runoff for the first time and fed MC at 4g/gal (up from 3.25g). It's hard to tell from the pics, but the leaves are darker and a bit shiny with some yellowing in the new growth. I think the first water to runoff coupled with the higher MC is the culprit. I may dial back the Megacrop to 3.75g, but with seeing pistils already I'm not sure if I should or stay with 4g as I need to get up to 6g/gal for flowering. Thoughts?

Stay at 4 for another watering at least before you make that decision. You’ll be moving to 5 soon, so you don’t really want to cut it back now.

Will do. As the day has progressed today they have improved.

I'm going to start training tomorrow I think, although that 5th node is still a bit short.

If it’s just one or two yellow leaves it’s likely not a big deal- but the plant is politely telling you it’s missing something (may go away when you get to 4g) I’d just keep on schedule for now.
If all the leaves go yellow, or any other color, then it’s time to worry and correct. They look good and healthy!

Did a little training today as they didn't seem to even mind being topped a few days ago.

Katie:. First pics
Node 1 left alone
Node 2 straight down
node 3 one right and one left
Node 4 opposite way of 3...one left one right
Node 5 left alone as branches are 1.5 inches long

Danielle. Second set of pic
Node 1 removed
Node 2 straight down
Node 3 straight down
Node 4 one left one right
Node 5 left alone for now

Thoughts? Problems? Suggestions?

@13goody13 I wanted to try your technique (node 3 one way, 4 straight, 5 the other way) but it seemed to be making the plant lean. I did losen the grip of the bandage on all a bit.

I didn't tuck or trim any fan leaves....should I or is it too early for that?
Looking good right now. Once it recovers a bit and gets more leafy again , then you'll see what needs to be tucked. Nice training!

Thanks....first time ha. Do I loosen or tighten as it grows ...or keep them as is?
