Woody's Deep Water Cycle - Crown Royal - First Time Hydro

Hello,I'm Woodturner, and this is my first hydroponic grow.
Strain:Crown Royal from CKS
System/medium: Deep Water Cycle with Leca Clay
Orchid/Hydroponic Grow Media
Nutes: Flora Series Performance Pack (pictured)

It is in the germination stage now

If there is anyone who knows about hydro growing, I could use some pointers on how much/how fast pH might move on me. My intent is to change the water once a week as that is when my nuts schedule calls for new nutes. ANY tips are welcome.

My pot, actually have 3 of these. Also forgot to mention I have a 4x4 tent with a 1000 watt hps/mh light. I a doing the SOG as well.

I've been running tests with the DWC, at first with plain water, and now with nutes added. The pH will not hold for more than 24 hours. I set pH to 5.5 and after one day it is up to near 7.0. Am I doing something wrong or what? I am checking with a digital meter.

Sorry I haven't posted, but they are alive and well. I got the pH right and all is going well so far.
