I got an old beer cooler I could drill a few holes in the side of; I'll just keep the little sucker in there! It should muffle the sound enough. Don't worry! I drink enough beer I won't forget he's in there! 
I hear some sugar and whiskey will calm 'em right down ...

My smallest is super needy, but has a crazy personality. My older one was never too much of a whiner. Though he is not a fan of being asked to do things. Come to think of it neither of them do. My youngest acts like she is a stunt person training to run toddler fight club. Keeps things interesting.
A wooden mallet and a beer cooler should cover all personality types! They help keep interesting incidents down to a minimum, too! 
Every home should have windows at floor level for the beasties.
Just makes em whiners .... well the one on the right with the bite marks on her neck.

Mine just jump all over my couch to look out the windows. They jumped in one spot so much they broke the damn thing!

Dogs are good for that. I have had SO Many things destroyed from dogs/puppies but we Love them all the same.
