300 Watt Mars LED Light

The 300w is a good light but it does have a flaw. The heatsink is not the best and as a result if temps in your grow tent/closest starts to get above 90F the blue LED lights will start to burn out.

Try to control the temperature below 90F to avoid the lens burned out. If budget allows, reflector 48 is a better choice. :cheer: Without glass outside of leds, penetration is deeper than 300W. Reflector series with very competitive price.

Hey there jesse, nice to see a fellow reflector 144 user here. I used one on my recent grow in a 2x4x6 tent. I looked through your recent grow and congrats on the results. We harvested just a few weeks apart :thumb: My results were good. This was my first indoor grow so I am not too upset about not getting that huge yield. This was mainly a learning experience. I also plan on adding more lighting. I am going to add two mars 300's to accommodate the 144 and if need be I will get the corner led strips too.

I do have a question for you though. At what height from the plant did you find the reflector most effective?

By the end, I had my big sativas within 6" of the lights, with good side ventilation.

I have really enjoyed all the mars products I have tried out. The 300 was a great place to start and will make a fantastic supplement.

Most effective height-remember that the closer you are between light and plant the smaller the footprint of the light, so I typically get as close as I can, and still am able to effectively light the needed area. Too close will bleach with any light so be careful!

Would you like to consider reflector 48 or ECO 49 instead of 300w, 300 is our old light. Reflector 48 or ECO 49 are more efficient.
