Man I bombed this month .....

I was really hoping to see that nice purple cola of yours all trimmed up nicely this go around... Probably would of had it hands down. That's nice bud too no doubt but probably could of been a more focused picture but we aren't all photographers that's for sure lol. Been saving my vote for last minute so I can feel important .

Lol the early riser x Pineapple Express is ten times the smoke that the Frisian duck is lol ten times. Frisian is just pretty. Purple doesn't really do anything but give bag appeal to people that don't grow and then the placebo effect that keeps them coming back for more! Lol

Well this competition is about bag appeal! lol it's not like I can smoke it either way but I do know I want to grow purple buds like that desperately now haha it's sick looking I know it's not like purp smokes amazingly better or anything but it's different and I rarely get anything with purp and then it's usually just the leaves very rarely purp buds.

Amen man. I smoke a lot of purple leaf shit but purple calyx's is a little different. Maybe I'll give her another go around sometime. She's in the jar chillin.

Lol this time I entered what I was stuck on. Lol I can't put down the Pineapple man. I've never had anything smell so perfect before lol I wanna eat the shit lol

I wanna eat the moon dance too lol

Haha appreciate it . I was clicking on this thread thinking bet I'm still voteless... And this comments the first one I see . thanks she was definitely my most frosty yet and she's potent. I need to learn how to use the 420 gallery because my 420mag app uploads at a low Rez and makes the pic quality look eh compared to the original. My pic really doesn't do my bud justice lol thanks for the recognition though .
Anytime man....I know what that's like to not even get a hit when your bud looks better and has noticeably more terpz but that's life I guess lok.. I can say the more active you are in here can't help....

I bet you somebody could post a pic straight from the winners of tge cannabis cup and they wouldn't get any votes if they weren't known smh

How about not allowing or us having some standards not to vote on POORLY (or in this case not at all) trimmed bud..

I hope that doesn't happen, because different folks like different trims. Closely trimmed buds have become the norm in the world of photographic bud porn & dispensaries' porn weed, but I rather prefer a somewhat shaggier cut w/ frost leaves. Both to look at & smoke (frost leaves are about as stony as it gets).

Let's let folks trim as they please, enter the contestants they wish, and vote according to their preferences.

If you don't like the way something's trimmed, don't vote for it. But it's not a good idea to try to prevent folks from voting in a way that you wouldn't.

Same here, there's just as much Artistry in a long trim as there is a short-term. Maybe even more

From the stand-point of a smoker who detests leaves, I have to disagree with you, and at the risk of sounding insulting, I wouldn't even say that bud is qualified for this competition as "Ready to smoke" because I'd be hand trimming that thing before I smoked it. I don't like the taste of leaves, frost or not. I won't buy weed from a dispensary if it looks like that anymore either. I once got an ounce of flower from a dispensary that had 2 grams of leaves I had to pluck off of it. I went back the next day and complained, and apparently so did everyone else, because they gave me a free 8th.

But I hear what you're saying. Times and trends change, if more people are really into untrimmed bud, then let the votes reflect that. I just have concerns that people aren't actually voting for the bud they think looks best. I couldn't even choose one as "best" this time around, but it surely wasn't between the top two leads we currently have. Personally I couldn't choose between the Afrodite, Lemon Garlic OG and GSC.

I do find the carnival to be a pretty ass bud but I do agree about the trim job. If it was trimmed perfectly I would have probably voted for it. Now I'm not one that's picky about trimming I personally just rush through it myself but most of the trim on the purp bud is just yellowed out leaves with little frost and it kind of kills the vibe of it in my opinion... Now if it were some green sugar leaves coated In frost it'd probably look a bit better...

I'm by no means dogging on his bud though it is gorgeous but everyone has their preferences and I personally think it's a worthy contender I just thought it would of shined more if all those leaves were trimmed off and it was solid purp.

But I do agree also I believe hands down that there are quiet a few people that didn't get a fraction of the votes they should have in my opinion but that's just how it goes. Once a few people start taking lead those tend to be the ones that get the votes. I already got into the topic of who I personally thought was best a couple weeks back so I'm not gonna go back into that. Everyone has their own vote and own opinion and hopefully everyone's playing by the rules.

Explain that one for me please? How would it be more artistic to just leave long pieces of trim on your bud? I could understand if the leaves are purple and red but that's not what was originally being discussed. I'm not understanding how it's more artistic to not take your time and trim the bud perfectly though... Because trust me some of the people in the entry definitely took a very long time trimming their buds to be perfect and that takes dedication... I sure couldn't do it I just snip down the sides real quick.
