Am I close to harvest

Hey following up on my last thread,

I’m now nearly 8 weeks into harvest on my outdoor grow.

I’m wondering if someone could tell me if I’m getting close to harvest from this pics. I don’t have a jeweller loupe. So iPhone will have to do

Don't need a loupe, she's just getting started...6 or 7 weeks to go, I'd say.
The waiting is the hardest part...
Welcome to 420, Aussiestoner1987!

Damn, you started that girl early!
She looks real healthy, be some good smoke at harvest time...

She must be a tree by now-
I'd like to see that one at harvest time!

Midnight here- I'm out...
Hope to see you around the forum!

Welcome to 420magazine @Aussiestoner1987 you will fit right in here, lots of your country mates to talk to. @Trala @DV8
Beautiful garden.
As long as you can see white pistols she is still flowering and building for you.
When they turn red and crinkle in she is finished building for you.
Then check tric's.
Keep up the good work.

Stay safe
Bill

Cheers Bill.

Welcome to the forum mate, Bill has given great advice , still more than enough time to get a loupe or half decent magnifyer before you will be in the harvest window.

Those longer slender leaves suggest shes a more sativa leaning girl, which can run up to 70 or so days from going into flower/flip.

Good luck finishing her.

In the photographs I am not able to currently find copious amounts of trichomes and the majority of the pistils are still white. The cannabis plant appears to be 2-3 weeks in flower and early in development.

Do you know the date of her first stamen hairs? That is when you start counting. Looks like week 2-3 to me. At 9-10 weeks you should have 80% of the stamen turned red/brown, frosted trichomes and an energetic, heady high with lower THC. By week 11-12 you will have all red/brown stamens, amber trichomes, with a more sedative, body high with high THC.

In my experience the stamen shift from clear, to green, to yellow, then orange in most sativa strains. Around week 4 they turn yellow. This is my lambs Bread at 4 weeks after yellowing for comparison.

The thing that concerns me are the NON serrated leaves on the close up pictures of the buds. Could be an indication of reveg. I looked up hours of daylight in Australia and it shows about 12.75 hrs-sunrise to sunset. Add twilight and your at about 13.5 to 14 hours of light that the plant sees. Australia's big and maybe the light hours are less in your location.
