Anonymous 1st Grow - Litro Bulbs - Soil/Hydro - Shiva

Ok,

The clones have been transplanted into the Ebb n Gro however I am worried about them. I will post pictures shortly but in the first 24 hours the top growth looks pale yellow and the edges of the leaves are following suit. I added 1/3 strength nutes (Pro Grow, Liquid Karma, Silica Blast) this morning and the ppm is at 480 so I will watch it and see if they eat. As for the rest of the room it is finally taking shape. I installed the dehumidifier and ran some electrical now to put up the light barrier separating the flower side from the veg side, maybe this week. Night peoples of cyberland.......

As promised pictures for this week.

here they are doing wonderful

Nice girls and love the room, thinking i might get me a tent for my next go around. How did you wash out your hydroton? i tried cleaning a few gallons buckets worth, and gave up halfway thru the first bucket.

Those are beautiful roots dude. :goodjob:

Thanks Hemp, I cant believe that homemade cloner did so well. In the end I had 100% success rate using Clonex rooting gel and Nutes.

Lol Kaption. It took about 2 days and my bathroom was a mess and the woman was not very happy about. I took the bag of hydroton and punched lots of holes in the bottom of the bag and threw it in the tub and let it go for about an hour (this was to get rid of the dust and pre-wash). Then I transferred the hydroton to a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled in the bottom and just kept washing and washing. It was a long and tedious process and in the end there is still dust in my hydro set-up :loopy: and it drives me nuts.

High Anonymous! Love your setup. It will be interesting following a whole grow with the Litro... and give your woman +Reps from me

I am honored to have you aboard and thank you for the kind words. I have been following your hempy grow as I think i may add 1 to my room. I love the simplicity and the results are wonderful. I will upload some pictures of my girl with the babies soon enough, she has been waiting for the buds to show.

LOL. Everytime I try something else, I finally realize how complicated it's getting (sometimes it takes a while :tokin:), then I end up putting the plants in a hempy bucket :smokin:

Hempy is Happy :grinjoint:

:peace:

So far the transplanted clones are not doing to much, however some of the leaves are turning into a V shape, I think it is a mag deficiency so I added Cal-Mag to correct but I will not be sure for a little while. I am getting impatient to flip the switch to 12/12. I have seen all sorts of information on size of clones before the flip.....anybody have some advise, should I wait and veg a bit longer or just go for it!?!

You will be the best judge on when to flip. Your girls will stretch 2 to 3 times their size in flowering. I hope that helps some.

Right now the all but two of the girls are doing well. My two jack 47's are having a serious Ph problem locking out nutes and they are starting to shed the lower leaves. I am still working on getting new pictures uploaded. Till then if any body knows how to raise the Ph in soil quickly please let me know.

What is the PH you are watering with, and what is your runoff?

Hi PB,

The story goes like this...My original 3 plants were grown in a hydro substance and as such I watered at a Ph of 5.8. Late in the grow I went to buy more of the hydro substance but they were out so I went with soil from the same company...Roots Organic....Never did I think the Ph for water would be different so again I watered at 5.5 - 5.8. After a few problems showed up I realized my noob mistake. My run off was at 5.2 last week and I have raised it to 5.4 in three watering's with the use of Water Ph'd to 8.8 - 9. Part of me wants to cry as I know I am stunting the growth of the Buds and yet I dont want to jump so fast as to create shock. I will look into top dressing with Lime and pick some up from the hydro store today.

Thank you all for your responses I cant wait to upload pictures.....i will see about getting a cable to do so.

Secondary note. I highly recommend the Litro bulbs and Roots organic soil. Other then the problem I have created the plants have done amazing.
