I posted some whole plant pics in my grow thread last night (see sig). I'd repost here, but I'm not at my computer.

IMHO you got awhile still, at least a week and probably more. They put on a lot of their "bulk" last week or two. Probably some others with more experience will chime in their opinions.

I say that you have too many white hairs to chop yet. I go for overall "ripeness". I like lots (at least 80%) of withered/retracted pistils and fall colors on the leaves.

Also, I prefer mostly cloudy with little or no amber, think 90% cloudy to 10% clear at chop. Chronic pain requires us to have the highest THC possible at harvest.

@Dwight Monk I made this 3 way cross (photo x auto x photo) and this particular phenotype finished in 47 days of flower. Unreal. Even Sensi NL that is supposed to be done at 45-56 days goes 9 full weeks in my world. Bummer only 1 of 5 plants expressed this super fast trait, at least I got 4 purple ones.

@concrete everyone has their own interpretation ripeness. You really can chop whenever you want. Without widespread affordable lab tests we are left to our own devices.. generally trial and error to fit our own tastebuds and endo-cannabinoid systems.

@SweetSue recently told me that she prefers to harvest just as the trichomes start to cloud up. You should check out some of her content here on 420. Amazing grower/photographer and even more amazing person.

Peace.

Yes, Sue is on my grow journal and she gave me some good feedback when I started it.

It's getting complex. Just as I thought my plants were finishing, they began to sprout new pistils!

You can too. I took my pics by taping my 2.5 year old Lg V20 cell phone to a $6 jeweler's loupe.
