Auto taking long to flower?

Hey there buddies,

Hope 420 was grand !

I’m in day 38 from seedling and my auto seems to have tones of Calyxs but only a few tiny pistils.

Is this normal .

Yeah you're good mate. Autos tend to take longer in hydro. Had plenty that went 7 weeks before going into bloom.
56 days is the longest I've had. All bloomed on 19/5 though. I'd give it another 2 weeks. If it's not went by then it's a photo.

Why do you say a non auto? It very well good be but I did get them from a reputable seller so I hope not otherwise they have had a 24h veg cycle lol

There are some small pistils just not a lot like my other strains?

i have 2 auto royal haze
77 days today
still growing, about 6ft tall now from floor (inc pot) nand has been flowering for weeks slowly

be patient and give some time, if by day 60 or so no signs of flower id stickit on a 12/12 to see if it changes, maybe a photo, patience though patience

Should I switch to a 20/4 Cycle to try enduse flower or is that not how it works ?

Can get non autos for a few reasons mate. Sometimes the seeds get mixed up and they send you photos. Other times its unstable genetics and you get ones that just turn out photo. Again though, I'd wait untill day 50 at least before assuming it's a photo. Big auto strains can veg for ages .

Haha they never are mate. Ive done a lot of Dutch passion autos. Usually says 70-90 days and I've never had one take less than 110. Usually closer to 120. They get fuckin huge though. My profile pic is an auto that started throwing pistils on day 49.

Thats more to do with too intense light or too much heat mate. Not actually the length of time the lights on for.
Quite a few other things can cause it too to be fair. My current lot are foxtailed like mad cos I buggered up the timer on my photos and they tried to reveg.
24 hours light isnt something that would be considered a cause though.
Sometimes it's even just a genetic thing . Not had that yet but I want it. Seen some crazy plants that done that.

TBH i would...... its cost me a lot having them foxtail , well i made caps and butter and some yummy cookies , the 4 hours dark will help them flower more without over doing it , depends also how much sativa is in the plant
