Based on your original picture, you have a wood floor that appears to be holding water. Week stems, damp wood, and leaf spots all make me wonder if you have enough air circulation. Condensation could be forming at night on the leaves. An oscillating fan will strengthen the stems as they gently sway in the breeze. Air movement lifts access moisture into the air where it can be evacuated.

I use a homemade neem spray for all insects: 2 tbsp pure neem oil, 2 tbsp Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, in 1 gal of pure water, in the pump sprayer. For more killing power, add 12 drops pure food grade orange essential oil (made from orange peels, aka "orange oil"). You can spray your whole plant with this, top of leaves and bottom side of leaves.
