I am growing with a 600w led first time using LEDs just wondering how far I should have it from my plants while on veg

I haven't seen one unanimous opinion. Obviously It should be far enough away not to burn the leaves. I have read that 12 to 24 inches is a good distance for LEDs. However, in my recent grow my light is only about 5 to 6 inches away. I do believe that having further distance provides a greater spread of the spectrum. To compensate, I turn my plant at least twice a day and she seems to be doing fine.

Hi Saflfords, hope this will works. The recommend height is as follows.
germination 24-30inches above the plants
veg:18-24 inches above the plants
flower:12-18 inches above the plants

It's not fixed. You can start the light at 30" and move it closer.
