Hi Guys and Girls, this is my second grow op in my backyard, the previous yield was 200gr of a 6'1" plant, the funny thing is that I've found the little girls growing wild from a seed a threw, the result was a beautiful female.

For this second grow op I've purchase 5 cks seeds northern lights autoflower they sent 7 seeds, I try to germinate 3 but only 2 germinated correctly.

After two days the little girls started to grow up, I have to tell you that the week I planted it was horrible no sun and raining all day, I was really concerned but now the days are sunny and the temparature its 30 C degrees.

I have a observation one of the plants grew very awkard leaves but now they are growing well.

Im also growing a few bag seeds I had, but this are only for soil tests, Im using soil mixed with xaxim, we'll see if this works.

I hope you guys like this journal and help me through this procces.

Thank You

Lazee

re: CKS Northern Lights & Other Bag Seeds

A nice outdoor grow to watch... Yippee! Hope you have a plentiful harvest. I am eager to see how 1-autos do outdoors and 2- compare them to my 3 northern lights autos from CKS's. Double the interest for me, I'll be watching as the days turn to weeks.

I have found some thrips in the plants, do you have some advice?.

For an outdoor garden the coolest thing is a praying mantis brigade. You can also unleash lady bugs. If you need to use pesticides makes use you use a food grade one that is not going to kill you when you smoke or eat it. Then there's neems and other organic things that I'm not so familiar with. Here's an excerpt from a the pest pictorial thread...

Excerpt :
One good way to repel thrips for those growing outside is to use garlic, this is a good way to keep them away before you get them. The color yellow attracts the thrips and should be advised not to have this color around your grow.. If you already have them using neem oil, and or lady bugs can get rid of them. If the infestation is bad then you need to use biological solution like, pyrethrin-like insecticides. Picture 8 shows thrips damage.
Other Products include:
Chemicals
Hot Pepper Wax,Safer Yard & Garden Insecticide (which can be used right to the day of harvest),GNATROL( used in hydro in the water as well as soil),Doc's Neem Pest Soap,Safer Sticky Stakes,TR-11000 Pyrethrum.

Hope that helps some, KIG :green_heart:cheers
