Clipping Fan Blades: Good or bad?

I was wondering if anyone clips their fan blades to give more light to the plants or for any reason at all. My plants are 30" and the bottom branches don't get much light. Any help greatly appreciated.

Its not a good idea to cut the shade leaves off,unless they are the size of your hand. I usually tuck them under some branches so at the end when my flowers need their nutrients they will have them. Also the light can only reach a few feet into the plant canopy, so it would be better for your harvest to trim lower braches off so that the upper flowers will get all that they need without these lower branches taking nutrients and energy from them. Remember that when you cut leaves off you are slowing the growth of your plants and thats how they grow! Good Luck with your grow:smokin3:

Tuck 'em , don't clip 'em.

If the plant don't need 'em they'll fall off by themselves.
