Clones not rooting in water after 5 weeks

Welcome to 420 magazine @Williammccloud1965

Clones can be tricky to establish. Have a bit of a browse around the forums as there is wealth of knowledge on the subject. Check this link out BLS’s Grow Laboratory and see if you have followed a similar process..

I hope you find the answers you need. While you're hear, why not tell us a little bit about yourself. Have you grown before?

That will be your problem.
Roots dont like light.
I did a test just to prove to myself.
see thru cup and red one on my window.
Both looked happy after 25 days clone in red cup had a mass of roots.
See thru had not pushed out anything other than a few nobbly bits on the stem.
;)

So u think if i change them out to darker bottles they will start to making roots ?
I've done it a lot of ways. Just about every way possible they will do ok in clear containers.

Keep your water clean change it out weekly. Also what water are you using? Tap water has chlorine in it if its city water - should use distilled water. Also try dipping the cut end in aloe gel. That's good practice.

Good luck it takes patience.
