Cheers m8 n that also looks top notch, I'm going to clear out the loft first, back to work on
Monday so I think I'll be able to get some supplies I'm working on an extension for a primary school new kitchen and dining industrial size so hopefully plenty of ducting and silver lining about
Jesus christ. I thought i had wandered into a groundhog day situation there. lol.
P is the master if tight loft space secrecy and stealth. love the stuff on your walls too p. We can get anti f.l.i.r mylar sheeting here in the UK . I have used it over the last few years and we are under a direct path of air ambulances and 5o chopper near main motorway junction.!. They are not interested in us either to be fair. so many force commanders have made statements saying so. even reported grows are not acted on unless electricity theft is also being done.

Is it possible to vent at top of room and just run it down then along to the eaves on both sides and they could heat the outside but inside the roof hence heating the whole loft kinda n take fresh air from the soffit vent
I exhaust next to my water tank in the loft so it can cool the air off under it. You have to try not to heat your roof at all as it is the whole loft that shows warmer , not just the lights themselves , they give off a further signiture that gives a second confirmation when enlarged. The Anti thermal comes in M lengths. Will message you the link so dont break any rules here.

never apologise on here bud !. We dont do offended or annoyed . Lol
Just checked my soffit has a continuous vent along the whole of it on both sides and it really can blow air around almost like being outside, it would really be difficult to prevent this
if it's been filtered for no smell , just let it dump into the loft space under the lagging with a gap to escape again the other end. they wont pump too much heat by the time it's been through the filter and fan to exhaust. How are you dealing with all those cross beams or do you plan on using the apex as the max height and along the space. How many do you plan on growing ect. lights using

Hi everybody, total Newbie to growing, I'm looking for best location to build a grow room or put up tent any sugg
Get yourself a hydroshot tent from fhe hoys at Glasgow hydro down at king st carpark. Spiderfarmer sf 1000 led light amazing results.

I dunno which way to go with the lighting set up, along the max height way is about 5ft high and 8ft long. Between trusses is 2ft wide and 7ft long lowest height would be approx 3ft either side to 5ft at the highest point, so it may have to be 3 separate lights,1 for each bay and possibly get 2 plants per bay =6 plants , or plants along the way possible 4 plants

Wow mate well done. even better . It will pay off massively mate. the heat saving and also
keeping the room stable and cool in simmer too. Nothing worse than watching your grows stalling in heatwaves .
For me , I use the apex as middle for the 3 lights I use. To make a grow nice and compacted with just as much as a 7 ft lanky untrained plant of yield is not so hard to achieve. I keep all mine under the 1.5m at finish by whatever means necessary. lol
I am harvesting now and just pulled these for drying after their 48 hrs in the dark. The bigger pot is a 37L and those others are 20L. I didnt train all of them and they still came in under 1m. We want nice fat low colas

Also do you think shadows off the roof spars will cause a problem ?

Morning al,I'm going to finish my grow room floor and walls today not easy as I haven't much room because of the materials in my way.I was wondering what type lighting your using as the heights your plants reached would probably be my maximum as well because I'd need about 18 inches to hang lighting as roof spars in the way, if I hang lighting at 18 inches from the apex I have 24 inches horizontal space for width of lighting any suggestions welcome.

I'll tag along with this if that's ok.
I'm in the UK also and currently running a 2x4x5 tent which I managed to squeeze in my loft.
I'm looking at building a 2x6x6 grow room and have worked out that I can get roughly an extra 1ft for light height if I build into the roof apex.
I figure it would give me enough room for 3 good sized plants and less worry about height.
I currently vent out the gable end and with 26 degrees temps and rh of 45 Its not noticeable.
I've been running a little 150w tube heater for lights off and it keeps temps around 17degrees.

I've got some kingspan for insulation and plan to use the reflective bubble wrap for my space.

Forgot to say, I'm running the Samsung F series strips LEDs, I built them myself and they worked out pretty cheap.
They really only need 12 inches total space from the too of the plants and the great thing is you can build them to suit your space.

I've got a twin speed 4" rhino fan with the 300mm filter.
I've also got a little 20watt inline booster but have not been using it, it may get used in the summer if I need to get lower temps.
I've got everything set up with the hive WiFi sockets so I can set timer programs and turn things on and off remotely.
Ive also got a wansview WiFi camera so I can view from anywhere.
It works well, I only have to go in the loft for watering.

I did struggle with lights off temps but luckily we have a ceiling vent in our bedroom so I've attached the intake to that so it draws in warmer air.
Also has a bit more co2 with me the wife and the dog snoring away in there :thumb:

Well that's the hard graft done need a plumber before I can finish the last part of the roof insulation, and the last wall to form with a door so all in all build costing about 700 pounds for plumber and materials, thats not including my time not bad for a fully floored and insulated loft wiith a water tap lol.
