Cup grow - Is it possible?

Just read a little of the 2014 Solo Grow Challenge and was fascinated by it. I'm planning to start my first grow, but $$$, space and especially the smell are big problems for me.

Can I really grow weed in 18oz cups? Yield is not a problem, since I don't need much. But I would love to know how it's done and couldn't find any journal about it

Yes, I was in the 2014 solo challenge n was very surprised with how well it worked! Here's a couple pics of what I ended up with

What's the difference in this type of grow? Any special care with the plant to get to this size?

It is possible but I'd recommend up potting to 1 gallon, there is more care that goes into growing in a small container

Do you remember the dry yield? Beautiful plant!

They averaged about 10 grams per plant, had 1 that went 17 grams. I've done clones with no veg time in 2 gallon containers and average about 25 grams

I forgot about that, no they were neodymium magnets. I heard theories about bending light around plants with magnets.

If you look you can see the side branches grew in line with the magnets and out of 3 sisters she produced the most.....coincidence....probably
