Ppm I don’t know. Ph is 5.8. Using dr hydroponics 2 part. I’ll knock er back a bit Thanks for the reply. That's Nitrogen toxicity mate. Feeding them too strong. What exactly are you giving them and do you know your ppm and pH numbers easy fix nothing to worry about .
Should really use a ppm meter in hydro untill you got it sussed mate. Doesn't just tell you how strong the nutes are, also tells you how strong you need them.Ppm I don’t know. Ph is 5.8. Using dr hydroponics 2 part. I’ll knock er back a bit Thanks for the reply.
Without the meter though I'd say cut them in half. Wait untill the bottoms start going yellow then go back up by 50%.
Make sure your emptying the Res every 7-10 days too. Keeps everything nice n balanced.
@Barney86 has got this ..since he is on the other side of the world im going to chime in for a sec.. seems like you learned to read it …. now your tap water reading could consist of many different things and one thing is certain about the reading after you add nutrients and that is how much true plant food you have put in added ...so what I used to do using tap water(I use ro water now) and everyone is different , is I would subtract the tap water reading from the end result unless your nutrient line says not to …. so right now you would be at 536 ppm also look at the paper on that has to do with the meter as there are two different scales that they can use the most common is a 500 scale however it could measure on a 700 scale which make the information relay different …..and here is an example as to why its important a 600ppm reading on a 500 scale is equal to 840ppm on a 700 scale and vise versa .Ok. Water on this meter reads 144 ppm. My buckets were 1100 Ppm. I’ve dropped it to 680ish.
