Awesome thank you.
I took the largest one out of the pot to check root status. Carefully put him back down on the clay pebbles. about 10, 4.5 inch roots hanging down. They definitely just need more time. Hoping I didn't damage. My lack of patience got the best of me. But now that I'm sure they're growing healthy roots, I won't touch again. Time to just let them grow.
I've done a few DWC grows and my advice to you is to enjoy those little babies. Once enough roots are in that bubbling water they will grow like "weeds." Patience will be rewarded! :Rasta:

i have had nothing but success growing seedlings in rockwool cubes maintaining ph at 5.5 and giving them only tap water for the first week to 10 days. After that i go to a very light feed usually no more than 300ppm and start to raise the ph to 5.8 gradually all this under a 100 watt led light. Seedlings dont need anymore than that, so i doubt light is your issue. i would guess your ph is too high. Bring down to 5.5. They are sensitive to ph at this stage.

Thanks for all the help and information everyone! My babies are looking stronger everyday.
Nice, @SlimePope! You may want to drop a few more pebbles around those stems. You don't want in light leaking down in there. :Rasta:

Oh no. Another newbie mistake I've made. How harmful is the light down into the hole? Have I been killing my tap root with that slowly? They're covered now but I haven't had it covered since I planted them.
LOL! Don't sweat it @SlimePope. I seriously doubt if any harm has been done. But you do want to keep the roots in total darkness as a matter of routine. Have fun with your grow! :Rasta:

Hi Everyone,

Just a little update on my girls. My oldest one has grown quite a lot. In 5 days she went from the first image to the last images attached below and her roots seem to be coming along nice as well!

I really appreciate all the tips everyone's giving as well. Will definitely look into the panda film.

Hello again everyone:ciao:,
Here's a few photos of them now.
The oldest seems a little droopy. Does anyone know if this is normal or not?

So I know that my post is kind of dead by now. But in case anyone is still curious on how they turned out, I have a picture attached :high-five:
and as you can see by the photo, I decided to upgrade my setup to a 5x5 tent and a much stronger light :)

Thanks again everyone. You all provided me some amazing insight, and made me feel super welcome here. A remarkable forum that I will make sure to keep sharing my grows on!
For a first grow I'd say I'm doing pretty good :).

Hi again everyone!
It's been quite some time since my last post but the plants have really come along. Started flower about 5 weeks ago. About 3.5 weeks since I started seeing the pistils shooting out everywhere and making buds.
Here they are today!
Hard to believe i'd get this far lol.
