SETUP

I grow in homemade grow box in an unheated garage.
Veg box is 18x24x48in with a t5 light
Flower box is 32x24x72 with 400w hps, 4in fan and carbon filter.
Built small lung box with heaters and thermostat to control the heat. Typically runs 65f at night and 75f with lights on. I run this from Oct to Apr.

Yeh, We have a camp on a lake in NH that we go to on weekends so we are not around to tend the girls. Have a hard enough keeping up with yard.
I'm adding a 3x3 tent next month. With both grow rooms 2 crops-year will take care of our needs.

Perfect. Sounds like you have it all under control! I've got to sort out an electricity-free way off adding heat to the shed. Thinking of getting an oil filled radiant heater hot in the house and then putting it in the shed at night to radiate as it cools down. It gets down to 57º in there at night.

I draw more electricity for the heaters than for the lights an ventilation.
Starting a project during the Christmas break to run duct from a heated room direct to the tent and grow box. 6in insulated flex dock with cheap duct vent fan. About 20ft run. The added benefit is fresh air rather than recirculating the air in the garage.

The radiant heater sounds like a good plan, why not run it on a thermostat? They are about 25 dollars.

That vent pipe sounds like a great idea and should definitely cut the electric bill. At night I put my plants in the shed under Samsung strip LEDs but I can't draw too much power because it's built on the back of the garage and shares the 60a breaker with everything in the garage AND a hot tub! The lights are already dimmed so as not to blow the breaker so I can't imagine what would happen when a 1500w heater kicks on. I just need to raise the temps about 5º.

Blueberry chopped 2 weeks ago. She gave me 2 oz (dry) of very nice buds.
Sage CBD was chopped yesterday, looks like 1.5oz when dry.
