Hey buddy you have a ways to go yet. Do you have a magnifier to watch your trics. Your lucky everybody else that's growing this round of candy cane autos is waiting for flower. I'm 64 days in right now and still no pistils. Gonna do a 8week flush this weekend and switch them to 12/12 on the lights. What is your light cycle now

Mine is 12/12 now and has been for about 3-4 weeks. I switched because I thought pistils should show around the 6 set of true leaves so when no signs showed up in a 20/4 light cycle I decided to force them.

Things are looking good and coming along great. When it comes to these auto candy canes they seem to just do their thing as the please. My two plants I planted at the same time are now in two different stages and have very different characteristics.

Your plants look like my plant that vegged and extra 1.5-2 weeks. I suspect I have roughly 4 weeks left on her, and I am thinking the same of yours.

My one who is almost ready I checked under the scope and I am at about 1/4 amber so probably will be chopping this weekend.

Do you mean amber trichomes? I thought the max THC level of a bud is when you see the first amber?

I'm pretty sure that when they start to amber they are loosing their thc but I could be wrong

Adding some light wind from the seed stage will strenghen the stems and I have built up ground around stem to stop them from falling over also. Another way may be to lightly flick the seedling with your finger a few times every morning (be easy though seedlings are delicate).

I am growing this stuff for sleeping so I figured a half amber half cloudy based on this guide suits me the best. I may be wrong here

Nuckscelts, I was going to ask if you planned to use this as a sedative medicine when I first read your post. I would say for your intended purpose your evaluation is correct. I am not sure but I think it is the degradation of the THC cannabinoid to CBN in the late flowering stage that causes the couch lock, sedative effect. I too will be experimenting with this.

Day 68 of my auto candies! I just fed them 6.5PH water only today and will leave them suck that up for 3-4 days and hit them with some more bloom nutes(Dyna) next water cycle.

when taking the below pictures I bumped one with my arm and it felt like it had pitch on it, very resinous and smelly!

Candy Cane Auto CKS - Day 77

Hi everyone, I thought I would post some updated pictures of my Candy Cane on Day 77 from seed. I noticed a couple of brown hairs on the girls tonight;does that mean I have about 2 weeks left?

No I have not, should I and why? I should soon have a 60-100x magnification glass to check out trichomes.

Adding molasses to your water will add bulk and weight to your buds.Molasses for stickier buds?

Well it is Day 82 and the Candy Bud is looking really frosty. I am done with the nutes and will water with molasses only during the last two weeks. Almost to the end of my first grow and will not end up with any monster bud, but if I were done today I would be happy with the grow.
