Grow tray alternatives & options

Typical grow trays/flood basins like those made by Botanicare are obviously designed for ebb and flow systems. I have been using 2 4x4' Botanicare trays for a few years and want to expand, but they are expensive and shipping is ridiculous. I'm not growing in a pure hydroponic fashion (coir in felt pots), so I am mostly looking for something to catch what comes out of the felt pots after watering. Can anyone suggest an affordable alternative to a grow tray? Thanks!!

Kiddie pool, shower pan, bushel washtub, large individual plant saucers, idk but the trays may be better priced at your local hydro store. I’ve even used a plastic drip pan for washing machine but the side edges are not tall or very deep

Shower stall bases work well. You can often find them free at the dump or anywhere houses are being demolished or renovated.
