Hi all
1st grow in nearly 40 years!!!
Outdoor grow and she managed to survive 2 x 48 degrees Celsius days in January ... just... is basically a 60cm (2 ft) stem with buds growing straight off.
Photos show top bud over last 4 weeks.
Ok so here is problem ... has been nice 20C (68F) days with 50% humidity for past few weeks .... not much rain and have been prepping her for harvest.... but not yet...
Now facing cold snap with 4 days going down to daytime 10C (50F) and up to 120mm of rain (4inches)
Then shoots back up to sunny and 20C (68F for 3-4 days
So.... what to do? Will cold affect her yield so close to harvest.... do I treat it as natural flushing pre harvest . I also read that cold may help yield
Thoughts? And thoughts on how far off until pre-dawn harvest welcome too
And no, can’t get closer photos ... don’t have loop and locked down... and my phone doesn’t take macros
Thanks
T

Rain more an issue than cooler weather towards the end, unless it drops below freezing at night or freezing rain. The drawback to growing outdoors, sometimes you just have to harvest it early instead of throwing a bunch away due to bud rot etc...as Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate. Plants are planted outside in the ground right? No such thing as flushing outside in the ground, and many folks don't buy into flushing theory anymore even indoors in soil.

Excellent feedback... thanks

Grateful for the feedback
Will check on her tomorrow

do you have any plastic coverings that you could use to make a makeshift greenhouse/hoophouse for her? Would help with temps and would keep the rain off her so she can have the time she needs to fully finish?
