I know I started late to mine, but how early into veg should you Start?
How early do you start LST?

Depends on what exactly your plan is shape wise. Some start bending with only a few nodes. Some top first the bend afterwards.
I top at the 5th node ish, around day 15-21
Then it just depends on my plans after that
But once those shoots start growing I'll start training, unless I was quading it, then I started when I topped it

does it depends oh much space he have in hes grow area, if he would top a 3ish does it make the plant smaller ?

as long as the stem is bendable.
im going to let this next plant get tall, then bend it down and use a screened tomato ring they got at local hydro shop.
not sure maybe have a littl DIY with zipties, itll be a ghetto scrog lol

I’m trying it out on a couple different strains. I wanna try to get a big Christmas tree, but also try for a smaller denser plant

I would say no sooner than the third node or you may stunt it like i did in this plant here they both are the same age..i think because i topped it too early its lacking in recovery...
For LST, you can start as soon as you see the first growth from nodes you start bending. You want to expose the node growth to better lights, so start early and be gentle.

Thought you asked about topping lol you said LST MY BAD...don't break the stemI would say no sooner than the third node or you may stunt it like i did in this plant here they both are the same age..i think because i topped it too early its lacking in recovery...
