I'm Back & Running A New Homemade System

I've been away for a while... I moved, got married, graduated college and started a new job all since may of this year. Needless to say I had no time to set up a new system.
I bought some Blue mystic and Crystal seeds from Nirvana seeds. I planted 10 total 5 of each kind, 4 of each popped and I'm now running under 18/6 1000 watt MH since the 14th of Oct. Everything is looking great and I can't wait for the final product. Since this is only my 3rd grow and I'm running HIL at what point should I start flowering? here's the setup and my (fingers crossed) 8 girls. I could only be so lucky... but I can hope. I'm off to work, I'll add photos later. Should I run both MH and HPS at the same time?
