ISEARCH's Broken Branch - Now Growing In Croutons 2014

GREAT GREEN EVENING . . . . . :420:

Thank you for all those Reputation points! Your plants would grow much better with an 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness lighting schedule. I read a study where lighting schedule versus roots length was measured. Plants grown under 16/8 grew the longest roots, 18/6 was not tested. I was made aware of a study where lighting schedule versus growth was tested and plant given at least 5.5 hours of darkness grew the most.

GREEN EVENING KJC. . . . YOUR . . . . :welcome:

KJC THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ALL OF YOUR HELP . . . . :high-five:+ REPS . . . . . :passitleft:

KJC, I LIKE THE 18/6 LIGHTING SCHEDULE. . . .:cheesygrinsmiley:

IT'S JUST EASIER FOR ME TO GO 24/7 WITH THE LIGHTS ON BECAUSE "I'M DOING THIS IN MY LIVING-ROOM" . . . . . ;)

"THE BOX" HAS 4 CPU FANS AND THE LIGHT FROM THE HOUSE WOULD GET IN. SO IT'S EASIER TO LET IT GO 24/7 . . . .

I WAS THINKING OF OF THIS POST A FEW DAYS AGO, SO I TOOK SOME PICS TO SHOW THAT "I'M GROWING 5 PLANTS IN MY LIVING-ROOM" . . . . . . :thedoubletake: . . :thedoubletake: . . . .

I'M USING THE TOP BIN UPSIDE DOWN IF, I STACK THEM I CAN MAKE IT MORE LIGHT PROOF. I JUST DON'T BOTHER, BECAUSE I'LL HAVE TO COVER THE 4 OPENING FOR THE 4 CPU FANS + IT'S WORKING GREAT . . . . . :circle-of-love:

KJC what are your thoughts on removing the old and big fan leaves?

I know that the fan leaves are the solar panels for the plants.

My question is does the big fan leaves also take energy away from the plant?

The energy used for sustaining the big fan leaves can be use for new growth?

Instead of keeping the old and big fan leaves alive?

The large fan leaves do add a significant amount of energy to the plant. When I defoliate in vegetative growth I remove the large fan leaves opening up the light to the smaller branches and nodes on the stems of the branches. only several days later the plant rebuilds a significant amount of leaf mass in a growth spurt. In 10 days the plants are as dense with vegetation as before I defoliated.

Green Evening KJC . . :thanks:

More questions . . :cheesygrinsmiley:

Is there any usefulness in the fan leaves that are defoliated in vegetative growth?

If there is a use for them what would it be?

Or is it the leaves that are clipped at the flowering stage that are of use?

Or is it the clipping and trimming at Harvest Time that is of good use? . . :cheesygrinsmiley:

Fan leaves that are trimmed in vegetative growth or flowering can be juiced. Fan leaves that are trimmed in flowering can be used for making cannabis butter. Fan leaves that are trimmed at harvest time can be used to either make hashish, cannabis butter, oil extracts and tinctures.

I have a portable washing machine similar to the Bubble Magic 5 Gallon Mini Washing Machine that I put the trimmings in a mesh bag and place inside the washing machine, I then fill the washing machine with cold water and ice cubes and set it for 2 cycles. I then place my 5 Gallon All Mesh five Bubble bags inside of a 5 gallon pail then drain the washing machine through its discharge hose into the bucket. I then remove each bag one at a time as I drain the liquid from the bag. The trichomes are gathered in the bottom of the bags and are removed in different grades and pressed in a pressing screen to remove excess water. I then take my
Large Piranha Aluminum Pollen T-Press and press the hashish into convenient sized disks.

GREAT GREEN MORNING TO ALL AT . . . . . :420:

AND MY GREENNESS OF GREENNESS GREETINGS TO THE WONDERING EYES . . . . . :ciao:

I finally got the water pump/drip system going. I wasn't to worried or in a rush, now that they're in a 1gal pot is a must. Well at least it is for me. . . . . :tokin:
The Sour Cream cup is just in case the "Orbit-Drip Watering Manifold, 8-Port, Adjustable " leaks. . :cheesygrinsmiley:

I already had the clear airline tubing. I used the "Tubing Couplings" from my irrigation kit to make a circle and filled the tubing with water and them I put the rings in the microwave for 20secs to get the water hot and soften the tubing."No need for the microwave part"Then I put the rings in the freezer till water is frozen so that the tubing stay in the shape of a ring. . . . . ;)
