It's been awhile

So i have been un boxing all my grow stuff and setting it back up after a almost 2 year break. Wiping down everything as its been in my basement. I can still smell the faint odor of mildew on my equipment. should i be concerned?

Use a light bleach water mix to kill mold

Those molds and mildews will probably not hurt. It is best to clean everything with bleach water just in case though. Nice that you get to break everything back out again. I know what that feels like and it is nice.

Yep I have 2 white widows and 2 green cracks that just germinated. I have them in containers now waiting for them to peek there heads out of the soil. Going to pull them out of the tent today and wipe down everything one more time just to be safe

Here in the dairy capital of Canada - local dairy farmers only use one thing to sterilize all their milking equipment and stalls: Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, after it has sterilized it breaks down into water and hydrogen, much less environmental footrpint. There is more than enough chlorine in our water supply. Amazon has it for $12.

The dairy farm I work on uses the same thing to sterilize their equipment and it works great. It's what I use to clean my tent and have had no pm or mold to speak of. Fingers crossed i didnt just jinx myself.

Vinegar works pretty well as a mould killer.
