Hey everyone, just grabbed some fresh new shots of my plant. The problems with the yellowing leaves is I hope figured out now with the improved drainage. I'm also able to get a better test and thus better reading on my levels both Ph and PPM in and out of the bucket. If I've been lucky I caught it before I really stunted the final yield too much. With the levels being so low I'm not going to fool myself into thinking that some loss isn't bound to happen. My own fault for being too carefree about my water and not doing enough tests along the way, something I've learned from and will have to keep an eye on.

Well despite my troubles I'm keeping on my little grow at day 35. I'm gonna be happy with any amount I can pull off them, Just by looking at the plant there are approx. 20 tops, if I'm able to pull even a gram off each one should be good. By the looks so far before everything starts to fatten up I'll be taking in more then that and all the other buds along the stocks as well.
As always have a good one, and happy growing!

Hows it going everyone!
Here I am back with my weekly update, as always. There hasn't been too much to report back progress wise, I've just been watching the buds slowly grow, the crystals on them are getting nice, Thing 2 has some leaves on the crown buds thick in 'em. I've also been slowly upping the nutes in the watering but I'm not sure if the yellowing on Thing 1 is totally stopped but this plant has had similar problems since 1.5 months into veg. that went away then came back recently. Only a few weeks left so hope she holds up that long.

That's it for this week, I've been working on getting some better macro shots of the buds, let me know how I've been doing or what you want to see I'll see what I can do. My camera isn't the best for the purpose but I'll still try and make the most out of it.
As always, Have a great one, Happy Holidaze, and Happy Growing!

Hows it going everyone, Hope everyone is having a good holiday! I was just having some fun taking a few shots and wanted to post them here. Everything is looking very nice, the crystals on one of the plants are growing like crazy I think some of these shots with the flash show it off better. On a side not randomly my smart outlet didn't turn off my light last night, so they got 3 extra hours of light by mistake, doesn't look like it stressed them at all so was just a strange occurrence from the outlet that has given me no problems up til now?.

Whats going one everyone!
Everything is moving along, anticipating harvest time is making these last weeks slow down a bit. All the waiting is paying off now, the crown buds are getting really fat, the other buds are a bit smaller but still not bad. As harvest time is slowly creeping up I'm going to start to lower the nutes before I give it a good flush for the last week or so. I'm not sure if these plants will be ready at 8 or 10 weeks because they were both mystery seeds, I've read up on when to harvest and what to look for but could use some pointers if anyone is keeping up and has some insight would be appreciated.

I have a few more I'll put into a second post, It seems that I can get slightly better macro shots on my phone then my Sony DSLR, it's like 7 years old so could explain it? With harvest closing in I'm starting to look around for some new seeds and strains to plant for my next four girls, thinking about some Blue Dream and or Blueberry, I have 3 Black Cream Auto from Sweet Seeds, 1 Hindu Kush Seed I pulled out of some bought weed and a bunch more mystery seeds.. Any other suggestions? I'd really like to find a strain with a really sweet smell and taste profile if anyone knows of any drop me a line let me know, I'm open to suggestions at this point.
Till next update. Have a good one, happy growing!

darn that purple is tuf to look at,, a suggestion perhaps,, get that sony dslr out and try a couple with the flash. if you want to check the trichomes for ripeness, one must have a non blurple photo,, ok, maybe not 'must' have,, but sure is preferable

nice plants, nice job,, patience is key here, as you suggested,, cheers

Today was an eventful day on my grow, Opened up my closet and a few of the buds are now heavy enough to start pulling down the branches, I started to grab some chopsticks to splint them and noticed one of my plants was already getting plenty of amber on the tops that I could see by eye, surprising because that was the younger plant. I decided to cut the one start the trim job.
So I'm down to one plant that's not too far off harvest may do it this weekend or next depending on what it decides to show me

Other then that not much else to tell, sorry the images are not the best I was more thinking about doing a good trim job before I give her some dry time. I'll need to keep an eye on my other plant and play it one day at a time.
Have a good one, Happy Growing

Thanks for checking out my journal and for the feedback, I didn't get too many images this post but I'll try and get more with the flash, give ya some nice green shots rather then burple.

Hello everyone
I'm back a day later then usual, I've now harvest both my plants had them drying and put into jars for the curing. Now that my first 2 mystery girls are out of soil I've started a few more seeds down to germ.

1 of Bloody Skunk auto - was a free seed when I bought some Black Cream auto
1 mystery seed - from the same bag as last time
1 Strawberry Amnesia - I pulled out of an ounce a few weeks back
1 Hindu Kush or a 2nd Strawberry - was on my rolling tray when I woke up one morning

I've also revised my closet set-up, I've grabbed a new bin to fit my space better, almost had trouble getting it in there but it worked out. I had to also up the amount of soil so grabbed a few bags to fill in, so I have it layered clay pebbles, then black soil and on the top some lighter potting soil. I'm hoping this will let the plants spread out more with the roots and give me a bigger plant and thus yield.

All ready for round 2! Just waiting now for the seeds to split and to begin the game all over again :)
I should be back in a few days once they've started to give me some taproots.
Have a good one, and happy growing everyone!

Hello, Everyone... anyone? :p
I'm back again, my new garden is off to a good start. I started germinating the seeds I had, all four of them sprouted and have been safely put into soil. The first 3 sprouts started to show up Thursday, the last one was there Friday. For simplicity sake I'm just gonna call Saturday, day 1 and keep my weeks inline with my updates.

Next update I should have a few more images as I tend to get daily shots as they start to take off. No real problems to bring up this update, all that could have gone wrong would be a seed didn't split or sprout died before it got to light. Happy to be getting started again. Also my harvest from the previous grow is starting to cure very well, still a few weeks off being ready but the smell is nice and not a bad yield for a first full grow.
As always have a great one and Happy growing!!

Hello everyone,
This week I've been watching my little girls just start to flourish, into healthy little seedlings. I've had no problems with temperature and humidity, i've added the mason jar of water in the middle to just subtly add to the humidity as it evaporates. I have noticed a few spots on one of the strawberry amnesia which I'll have to look into a bit more, started as whitish spots and are brown as of this morning, seems similar as Thing 1 from the last grow but its all new across the board from soil to planter?

I've added a link to my Google drive for this grows picture dump. this doesn't contain any images from the last grow if your interested I can post a link to that. I've finally got some glow in the dark filament for my 3d Printer that I got during the holidays, so I designed some little plant labels not thinking that they will never glow until after veg. I've also started to model a modular scrogg set-up that I need to tweak so that it prints cleanly

Until next update, have a great one and happy growing!

Hello everyone,
2 weeks into the growing with my new little girls and they are all shaping up into healthy girls, the growth has been crazy on the Bloody Skunk. I've been having a little bit of browning on one of the Strawberry Amnesias but I think this is due to over watering, so I slowed down my watering schedule to give them a bit of a break. Earlier tonight I topped all 4 of the girls as they were getting about the 4th or 5th node up, I feel it was too early as they are so small yet but they have plenty of time to recover and I don't want to do it too late and regret it later.

Another good week behind me and everything is looking up, as long as I keep ahead of the browning on the leaves and not over water I think everything should be good. I got to smoke some of the bud off one of the other plants today, now that it has cured for a few weeks in mason jars. It's not really strong in smell but it does the trick for a nice mellow high if a bit lacking in flavor. For weight totals I got about an 1.5 ounces off each plant give or take, not a huge yield but as I've said not too concerned about massive hauls but I would take it if it came. Better prospects for this grow where I have my stronger grow light from the beginning, results will have to speak for themselves.
Until next time, have a good one and happy growing.

Hey Everyone,
Back with my Saturday update, so far everything is going good so far. The Bloody Skunk is growing like crazy, I'm quite surprised by how big its gotten in such a short time. On the other hand two of my other girls are showing signs of trouble, one is still getting brown leaves lower down even tho I spaced out the waterings more and the other is having some taco leaves and slight browning on the lower leaves as well. I'm not sure what I can do about the browning I haven't given too much on the nutrients before last watering so maybe they have been more hungry then I realized, more waiting with the new water mix to see if I've gotten closer to a fix.

That's really it for this week, everything is slowing down after the first big push. I'm hoping the sad little plant on the left will grab some more height before the monster above it starts to steal light. I've topped all four of the girls on the main tops last week and they took well, I've also topped the second growths on the Bloody Skunk which have started to regrow.
Until next week, Have a good one and Happy Growing!

Hello Everyone,
After a few weeks of slacking and not posting an update I'm finally back. I've been gone but my plants have all kept growing. The Black Cream Auto is approaching harvest soon, all the buds are getting nice, fat and purple all over. On the downside of this plant, we has a power flicker here last weekend and I hadn't noticed my smart outlet didn't turn my light back on until I went to bed 5-6 hours later and Black Cream has not popped a few seed pods only at the calyx's, its strange because no males and no nanners on the buds (at least its free auto seeds if viable)? of the other 3 vegging plants the mystery seed is going great its tempting me to switch to flower as its getting very tall for my closet, the 2 strawberry amnesia's are my constant problems.. One will stabilize then then next will get problems, back and forth for the whole grow so far... maybe just a picky strain that I'm not ready for yet? I'll see what happens as we go along.

Hey everyone,
Back again with another update, despite my updates being posted on no set schedule. I just set my 3 vegging females into flowering light cycle today, it should all go into motion when my smart outlet triggers at 12 tonight.
My Bloody Skunk auto is turning into a beauty of a plant, covered in purple buds that have fattened up nice over the past week, its just the wait for harvest with this one.
Mystery plant has been given some LST to help it keep away from the light as it hits the flowering stretch. she has grown the best out of the 3 photo plants I have nearly filling the whole height before the LST.
Strawberry Amnesia 1 & 2 are looking way better, their leaf yellowing was due to low nitrogen and after a few days watering slowly giving them more. They have picked up a bit of height and the fan leaves are about the size of my hand.
I was going to wait until the harvest of my auto before I switched to flower, to take in all the extra light I can give her but the other 3 photo types are going to be utter monster plants if I left them much longer and they are getting harder to maintain in my limited space. Its great to see the swath of green but its taking a lot more upkeep to have it stay tidy.
