Well it's been 24hours and as per usual.. p.hd water in a cup with a rag over the top, has given another 100% crack rate.

The taps have poked out thier shells, so I've poked them into the soil/coco temp home...

Soon as my new net pots arrive I'll be getting those suckers in thier forever home.. buzzing can't wait...

So when I planted I p.hd my water to 5.75, added 6%h202 into the mix and diluted that to 10%/litre. I've then gave a good oad top watering and checked my run off, which was 6.3

Which is a fair starting point I think...

I've also got the lights on red spec now.. just because they give off more heat so for the 1st few days I think it'll do well to just keep them warmer...

I'm debating wether to place a clear plastic bag over the top just to retain moisture a little...

What you guys reckon..

They have picked up in extreme time too aswell, when compared to my last crop.. it was more then a week till the heads popped... so that's a good sign.. I think it's the added h202 after germination that has helped...

Im gunna give the girls a 2day period to dry out and start thier search for water.. which will be provided by bottom feeding, so they are trained to hunt downwards straight the way....

Well. Sometime I just cnt help myself... but I've took the shells off and the skin and let them baby cotylodons see some light... I've also raised them up ... they seem to be loving life.

Can't wait to get the octopot on the go

Well I can only let these girls speak for them selves...

Cracked within 24hrs rooted and shell off 3 days later, another 24 hrs on and we have this....

Little fiery fuckers are loving it. So am I.

Through out all my germinations and theres has been many.. (with a only 2 crops seeing the end).... this has been by far the most successful.

That is all

So we have 1 about an inch out the pot. 1 about half inch and 1 that looks abit ragged on its leaf.. sure it'll be fine... my fabric pots have arrived aswell So we are pretty much good to build the next octopot v2.0.

Also hopefully if all being well I'll be ordering a quantum light. Hlg 130w actual draw with far red kickers.. I'll buy one this weekend and another in a few more weeks we should have plenty of light then... it has a 60cmx60cm flower coverage so 2 is more then enough for my 120cmx60cm tent.. with my viperspectra 600w as a red and blue kicker respectively.. should be more then ample lighting.

So the next stage would be nutes.. again I'll go for mother pukka range but I'll hit the coco clown as I'm running 75% aqua pebbles

That's our basis covered I think

Just been in to have a check on the girls... they seem to be doing just fine.. the main tap root is showing, just about to poke out the bottom... not alot really to say at this stage..

I've eyed up my new lights I nearly brought one last night but I need to be sensible and I still have time yet...

Well guys we've done it.. we've made octopot v2.0 and here she is

I've used a sheet of ply.. some epdm. Rubber a fabric sleeve and plastic net pot.. woth a dark container.. i had to male a more sturdy lid for the weight ect... so I think these will do just dandy. Light proof water proof and strong.

To be honest I have no idea how long.. I think it's a Canadian company that has developed it for camnabis... they have a full setup for aroun£80 I think.. where as mine cost £5 and it's bigger lmao..

It is a cool concept bringing best of both worlds giving oxygen and water 24/7.. can wait for the roots to show up and I can plant the suckers

Yh but that was the trial run.. this time it's full systems go... no silly light exposure. No bugs.. p.hed and h202oood water... no messing.... I just have to have the patience to wait till the roots are bound enough to transplant.. if I had my way, I'd be transplanting now lmao...
