Just curious. Is a 150Watt Mars Hydro LED ok for two or three plants? Thanks!

No, it's not enough light for 3 plants

Find out the true output wattage of the light, especially for LED's, they advertise 150w, but are usually half of that in true output watts. With LED's you want a minimum of 35 watts/sqft.

I took the plunge. After doing a lot of reading, I ordered a 200 watt COB LED light. Hopefully I can get it fairly quickly. Shipping is advertised as being fast. The flowering time is fast approaching.

Yes, as long as you can control room temperature run both!
When you turn on HPS the LED does not go away or decrease at all. The light spectrum's (colors) blend together. All of the LED and HPS is still there. Where the LED gives a purple room adding more HPS light just blends with the purple and makes it look different. Even with HPS on the LED light for the plant to use is still 100% there.

A 200W COB will actually be about 150W actual power usage. That is enough for 1 plant and no more.
