LuckyAlbatros's 2017 Ghost Train Haze, 1200W LED, Soil, Perpetual SCROG

Day 29

I think the problem has been solved. I avoided even checking on them until this morning. Didn't really want to see dead plants. But The High Buzz has been kind. The only sign of sickness is on the originally damaged areas.

Seriously stupid overwatering! That won't happen again. *Facepalm*

New growth seems okay... to the point that I think they should go into the final pots within a week...( 7 gal. fabric pots) same medium mix that they are in now. I'll trim off the damaged stuff tomorrow....thought they may like a stress break.

DAY 32

Transplanted the two original ghost train Haze into the 7 gallon fabric pots today and also transplanted the second ghost train into it's pot.

In the Red Cups now are my outside vegetables and then a bunch of Alien fire fruit and Thunderbird Sprouts hoping a few of them will make it so I can cycle that in.

A couple of days in these pots and I'll start counting veg time.

Lights just went to 12/12 yesterday.

I held the GTH in veg for an extra week to let the one planted later enough time to catch up to the lights. You can see that she is clearly stretched quite a bit more than the other two. The screens are zip-tied to the top of cages 20 inches above the soil. I liked this method over a single screen due to what I think is a benefit...being able to move the pots around.

But I wonder if I will lose quantity? I bought a horticultural screen and clearly, if I screen the entire 4x4, there are more sections to tuck branches into. Does this mean more bud sites?

I can change it now. I was even wondering about doing two levels of scrog... is this productive?

Using Fox Farms Big Bloom per mixing instructions but only applied once a week, for the last 3 weeks. That changed to every other watering yesterday.

Am I screwing anything up that you can see?

I didn't see mites but a friend had free ladybugs, so....preventative medicine.

OHHHH! The two Thunderbuds and the Alien Fire Fruit are transplanted and in veg.

Lots of growth and lots of love.

Happy to report that I am the proud papa of all girls! Very glad for no wasted effort.

Two weeks into flower and my babies are looking gorgeous. I cleaned the mechanical side up a bit.....removed the low wattage CFL's I had as boosters and put in the 2nd LED. So now there are 2 GroHydro 300's lighting up a 4x4. I know it's hard to pin equivalencies down, but as near as I can figure that puts more useable PAR on the plants than any other lighting method.

Also added a 4" carbon filter and 4" VivoSun exhaust fan. The sides of the tent suck in just slightly so I've got good intake/exhaust.

Picked up the other two parts of the Fox Farms feeding plan. (I actually didn't know that plant foods came in parts!)
Every other feeding is getting their Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.

The only problem I'm having now is being scared to death of topping the plants....but I think it's needed.
Any advice?

The last two pics are just what I'm currently smoking.....bought a micro-lens for the smartphone in anticipation of lots of trichs popping up in the near future. Couldn't resist playing with it.

Day 18 of Flower

I got a little nuts thinning out the Haze...so much so that I'm a bit worried I took too much...we'll see.

Topped 'em too.

Found a really terrific feature of these lights that I just had to mention. You can daisy chain the power cords. One plug = mucho lamps.

That's a DIY co2 set-up on the hanging shelf I added. Something found cruising around here....just sugar, yeast and warm water in both containers.....forces co2 down to the fan to be blown around the tent. Low maintenance too....should produce for a whole week.
