1200W LED help

My plant 6week flower been using cheap LED bulbs now have 1200w led plant trained only 6inch tall 40 tops light is adjusted 16inch above plant and has dual knobs to adjust for vegetation or flowering. Should vegetation dial be turned off or adjusted to something between 10 + 40 should the flowering dial be above 30 or 40 because it's only 16 in from plant not sure how I should have this light don't want to burn up my nice little plant can you help

no clue and no one can properly answer without seeing the light and the spec sheet.

best practice is throw the most light you have available at the plant in flower. there is a point it is too much tho. doubt your fixture will get there, but who knows ?

Hi @Jackmacdaddy I'd say crack them wide open, that's what most people do with the adjustable lights. Even the red wavelenghts are going to help. What brand light is it? CHeers mate, luck to your grow! :yahoo:
 
I agree with @Pbass, just use both switches, more light isn’t a bad thing. Just you know maintain a safe distance from the light, start a bit higher, and lower it maybe once or twice a week until you find your optimal growing distance. good luck bud.

I use a 1200 watt and 1000watt likesuns led lights and hang like 20 inches. on flower plants, love them use both veg and bloom switches all time even in veg
